Stevenson Ranch is a suburban community spanning west of Interstate 5. The city is separated from Santa Clarita by the interstate and is situated about 35 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles. A large cluster of shopping centers feature major chains and big-box stores along the interstate, but the rest of the city is largely composed of residential neighborhoods.
