2700 Lincoln

I’ve really enjoyed living here! The study rooms are super nice and perfect for getting work done between classes, and the gym has everything I need without being too crowded. The staff is always helpful, and the location makes it super easy to get to campus. Definitely a great spot for college students!

I had a wonderful experience living at 2700 Lincoln. The staff was always friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Any maintenance requests or questions were handled promptly and with a smile. The community amenities were fantastic, from the well-maintained pool and fitness center to the comfortable common areas that made socializing easy and enjoyable. The grounds were always clean and inviting, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. I highly recommend 2700 Lincoln to anyone looking for a great place to live, especially so close to ISU's campus!

They do a lot of surface stuff to look great, but all the construction in the lobby doesn't fix the puke stains and lack of cleaning of the hallways where we have to actually live. The amenities may seem great, but they are only available when touring time comes around. They do not regularly stock the coffee or restock gym cleaning equipment. They claim to be a luxury apartment, but have cheap furniture in the rooms that is already falling apart.

I entered my apartment on the first day, and there were tomatoes and wax stains all over my carpet, the light and fan didn't work, the room smelled like a dog (despite them having an odor clause in the lease), and there were broken draws in the kitchen. They don't even clean the hallways there has been a puke stain in the stairwell for months. Also, when I requested maintenance on my sink because it was draining slowly and running at half the pressure, it should it taken three requests before it was fixed, and the first time, they just said well, it low pressure because you are on a high floor. Also, the water went out for 2 hours without warning.

I have yet to even move in yet, a few of my roommates already have and walked into our apartment to the completely incorrect floor plan. We were promised a 4H and they somehow ended up giving us a 4F. I got sent a video and my bathroom isn’t even connected to my room it’s now across the hallway and the only room that doesn’t have a connected one. I was told to find any sort of proof that they screwed up the room assignment and when I did and sent an email they claimed they couldn’t do anything because it was all old management that promised that. All they offered to do was move me to a room that was without my 3 other roommates in our group to go live with 3 random other residents. They may have not been the management to mess it up, but they were extremely unprofessional and not helpful when I asked for a reduction in my rent or any other compensation for a error that was made under them. The manager that didn’t give me here name when I asked (female) and also refused to put my number down to speak to the general manager or make it any more convenient for me to get my problems resolved. I’m not even here yet and I’m already super disappointed in their management team and customer service.

Jacob gave us a tour and we are so excited to be leading at union. The staff is so friendly and it is a great price for the locations and floor plan. Definitely consider Union if you are an ISU student

The staff at Union is amazing and super friendly, and the location to campus is about the best you can get without living on campus.

I have lived in The Union on Lincoln Way apartments for the past two years and I have had nothing but excellent experiences with the workers! Maintenance responds quickly and efficiently and are always helpful! I love my apartment it’s the perfect space for what I was looking forward to!

AMAZING!! The great amenities, events put on for residents, beautiful property, and customer service received on my tour of the Union definitely sold me on this complex. Jacob's welcoming, kind, and encouraging personality throughout the tour of the property definitely showed me how great life at the Union can be!

Many of my friends live at the union and they love it! The office is always so friendly and helpful. It maybe on the pricier side but it definitely makes up for it being the safest and cleanest place to live by. I seriously recommend living here if you can.

I would not recommend living here if you are expecting a quality apartment especially for how much they charge for rent. I lived here for a year and by the end of the lease I was more than ready to move out. The washing machine broke twice and it took maintenance over a week to fix it, the dishwasher stopped working, the door handles on the bedrooms malfunction and lock you out, and the garbage disposal had broken twice. The bathroom sink water pressure is extremely poor, there is always leakage around the bathroom and kitchen faucet, and the apartment elevators are almost always breaking down. There are trash disposals on every floor and there have been multiple instances where the rooms are literally over flowing with garbage. The office staff don't know much beyond replacing an apartment key. Don't be fooled by the "glamour" they portray, this place is totally not worth it

I really liked Union from the moment I toured. The location is super close to campus and state gym. It's also close to food options and the bars. The price is also a really good deal for what you get in the apartment (fully furnished) and the layouts are also much more practical than the other apartments I toured.

I lived here for 2 years and I loved it. The staff seems like they genuinely care about helping and are very responsive. There are also so many fun events and giveaways. They are a bit higher priced, but it is well worth it.

I was a transfer student to ISU and I wanted to be close to campus but still live in a nice place. Union has offered that to me. I renewed to live here next year too. Sure the prices maybe a little high but I can say that this place is worth the investment. It isn't some run-down college apartment, it is a luxury building right next to campus. I can say this is the best you can do in Ames. They have memory foam mattresses... Like what college bed has been that classy?!

Prices are too high for what you’re getting, staff is generally incompetent, maintenance can handle basic functions however there is only one guy who can deal with advanced problems, included furniture is basic cheap sub IKEA quality furniture, I was the first person to live in this apartment and it had scratches on floor and dents in walls from construction/maintence before I moved in, comllectively you can get a much better apartment elsewhere for a much better price
