The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 2419 7th Ave
Harlem is going through a renaissance and it's not bad to be a part of it. Pros: Big space, cheap rent. The office for my building is very easy to get a hold of. If I call during business hours, someone answers and passes my need/complaint/question on to the right person efficiently. I can walk to just about any train. Less than 10 min to A/B/C/D & 2/3 trains. 15 min to 4/5 train (across bridge in Bronx) and 20-25 min (if you like a good walk) to the Yankee's or Harlem Metro North stations (yes, equidistant from the 2 stations). Tons of buses in the area too. Cons: our buzzer has been broken for over six months & has yet to be fixed. I haven't been terribly vigilant, but I'd say I've asked at least 10 times since realizing the issue, and frankly that's enough. They've been very good at other maintenance issues, but when you have to sprint down 6 flights of stairs in order not to miss the ups guy, you forget the good stuff. I've seen mice here and there, mostly during other apt renovations, but it hasn't been a huge issue. There's an elevator that works (most of the time) and a great laundry mat on the same block- I don't even have to cross the street and their drop off service is great!
