Built in 1974, this large 1,100 sqft, two (2) bedroom unit has one full (tub/shower) bathroom upstairs and a 1/2 bathroom downstairs, a private garage with remote opener and a private courtyard. Located between Central and Electric Ave, it's a block and 1/2 to the sand in Seal Beach and a short distance to the pier and colorful Main Street with many restaurants and boutique shops. The kitchen with granite countertops and quality maple cabinets opens to the family/dining room. Appliances: Gas stove, double-door Refrigerator, and Dishwasher. You’ll find porcelain tile flooring in the kitchen, dining room and entry. Upgraded carpet in the living room, both bedrooms and hallway. Household items can be stored in the closet under the staircase, or in the linen closet upstairs. One bedroom has a walk-in closet; the other, a double-door mirrored wardrobe closet. In the west bedroom, there’s a quiet air-conditioning system with compressor on rooftop. A Gas wall furnace downstairs keeps the inside cozy in the winter. Your new home will be spotlessly clean when you move in. Outside you will find the plants and flower gardens well landscaped and maintained. A laundry room with a coin-operated washer and dryer is conveniently located in the courtyard. Security lights shine from dusk to dawn. The fireplace is wood burning with glass enclosure and maple hearth. Water and trash pickup is paid; you'll be shown how to arrange for electric, gas, and cable internet service. A parking sticker & guest passes purchased at City Hall allows residents and their guests to park beyond the one-hour posted limit on both sides of 8th Street. Hopefully the above description with a copy of the floor plan and a drive around the area will enable you to decide this is where you would like to live. An appointment can be made for you to see the unit with 24 hours notice to the present occupants (the same courtesy you would expect). Once you decide to make this your new home, you’ll be asked to complete an application (one for each adult), and a reservation deposit will be collected for the first full month's rent. Upon move-in, you will be asked to inspect the unit, sign the rental agreement, and provide a cashier’s check for half of the security deposit. The next month's personal check will be for rent prorated from your move in date to the first, and a quarter of the security deposit. The third month’s rent check will include the final quarter of the security deposit. The security deposit will be held in an interest-bearing savings account. When you move out, provided rent is paid and the unit is clean and undamaged, the entire deposit plus interest will be refunded to you. I look forward to welcoming you to your new Seal Beach home.
