About This Home
Built in 2006, the same year The Devil Wears Prada first strutted into our lives, 23114 Mariano Drive feels especially on brand now that Miranda Priestly is making her return: polished, dramatic, and very aware of the power of a good entrance. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, 4,120 square feet, fully gated all the way around, and ready for someone who likes space, privacy, and a house that knows how to make an entrance. And the entrance? She’s got height, light, and a little bit of attitude. You step into a formal living area with soaring ceilings, big windows, and a glass-railed staircase that immediately makes the whole space feel open, airy, and just dramatic enough. It is the kind of foyer that can handle a proper hello, a holiday party, or one very casual walk downstairs that somehow feels like an entrance. The main living room is where the home really stretches out. It is huge, faces the backyard, has a fireplace, and flows right into the kitchen, which means no one is banished to another room while snacks, drinks, dinner, or unsolicited life updates are happening. The kitchen brings white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, a center island with cooktop, generous counter space, and plenty of room for the person cooking, the person “helping,” and the person just leaning on the counter providing commentary. There is also a bonus den, created from a closed-in garage, which gives you a whole extra zone to play with. Media room, home gym, studio, game room, storage for the hobbies you swear you are getting back into, you get it. Plus, there is a small extra room that could be an office, reading nook, creative space, secret Zoom headquarters, or whatever your imagination decides after move-in. Upstairs, the primary bedroom brings its own little main-character moment with a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the backyard. Morning coffee out there? Very reasonable. Dramatic evening stare into the distance? Also available. The ensuite bath is spacious too, with a soaking tub, large glass shower, dual vanity, and enough mirror space to make getting ready feel like a team sport, even when it is just you and your skincare routine. One of the front bedrooms also has a wraparound balcony facing the front, because apparently this house heard “balcony” and said, “Yes, but make it plural.” Bedrooms are generous, light-filled, and flexible, with good closet space and room to actually live, not just wedge a bed against a wall and hope for the best. And then, the backyard. Big pool, hot tub, stone water feature, patio space, and a covered area for shade when the Valley sun starts doing what the Valley sun does best. This is not a tiny splash situation. This is a proper backyard setup. Swim, soak, host, lounge, grill, sit under the fan pretending you are “just stepping outside for a minute” and then somehow lose two hours. It happens. Fully gated, spacious, bright, and loaded with flexible rooms, fireplaces, balconies, and a backyard that is clearly auditioning for summer. Big house, big pool, big entrance. Subtle? Not really. Effective? Absolutely.

Los Angeles sprawls across nearly 500 square miles between the Pacific Ocean and the San Gabriel Mountains, making it one of the few places where you can surf in the morning and hike through chaparral-covered hills by afternoon. Sunshine, open-air farmers markets, and a food scene that pulls from dozens of culinary traditions are a staple of living in the city.
Neighborhoods each have a distinct personality surrounding a particular focus, whether it be culture or nature. Westwood keeps residents close to entertainment at UCLA and the Hammer Museum's rotating art exhibitions. Koreatown is a cultural and food destination, known for authentic restaurants and shops paired with a bustling street energy and nightlife.
The city overflows with iconic landmarks, from natural to man-made. Griffith Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country, offers hiking trails, sweeping skyline views, and the iconic Griffith Observatory.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
