Smart, Sophisticated a Charming Building.

230 Ash Street Apartments is smart sophisticated and a Charming building. The facade wraps around and can be seen on three sides, Second Avenue, Ash Street and 3rd Avenue whose bricks and cast iron facade reminds me of the architectural designs of the industrial districts in the south from mid to late 1860s. It's look fits in perfectly with with the buildings that surround it.The architect out did himself and did quite well having a design fit in perfectly with Portland's Old Town facades as Portland Oregon has the nation's second largest collection of cast iron buildings from that era. When you walk through the door you have the lobby area with its reclaimed wood and bricks that give a comfortable place to have a rest to wait for the delivery of dinner or your Uber to pick you up. The apartment that I have taken has a Northern Exposure and I have large windows that are absolutely gorgeous and I an very happy to have them open. Moreover, when I want them closed, there are screens that can be lowered and it keeps the direct sunlight out and other eyes from looking in. I believe a house is designed for its guests and I honestly feel this apartment was designed just for me. It is one of the best kept secrets I've come across in the city. But I'm happy to share that with you and wish you all the luck this summer enjoy yourselves but take care and God bless. Thank you for your time.

The apartment itself is nice. The office team is so friendly. My neighbors are cool. I just think when it comes to maintenance it could be better. Im not sure if the place was just built in a hurry or what but it seems like it was just thrown together as things break very easily. It also takes a long time for things to get fixed. Im not mad at anything but theres definitely room for improvement.

I have never lived in an apartment this nice! The attention to detail in the build of these apartments and the views of the city from both my windows AND the gorgeous rooftop patioamazing. The amenities are so generous and the staff really made me feel welcome in my new home. I love it!

overpriced for what/where it is. lots of fire engine sirens day and night, plus lots of loud and visible mental health issues close by in the adjacent streets.

I enjoy the location and the amenities of this apartment. I walk to most of the stores and restaurants in the area. The roof top deck is beautiful and the gym is clean and has the right amount of equipment to get a quick workout in before work.

The property is overpriced for what it offers. There is zero insulation/noise detinning between apartments horizontally and vertically. You can hear every single foot step above you or tv/music in apartments next to you. For a luxury apartment, this is by far the poorest construction I have seen. Not worth your money.

Great place to live, everyones friendly and very positive when interacting. I lost my engagement ring in the trash shoot an Zac the manager was so helpful we dug through the trash compactor and it was just the most kindest thing in the world due to situation a having to do with trash, not many would volunteer for that so it was greatly appreciated. Sarah and Zac are always so very pleasant to deal with an really do make living there enjoyable. Great team!!
