Apartment is on E. 96th Street and 2nd Ave right across from the newly completed 2nd Ave Subway. (Q) and also two Avenues from the 6 Train and the FDR. I am moving out of my apartment and need to fill my room by January 1st, which means my room is available to you! Rent is $1590/mo. + $100/month for utilities and internet, and security deposit is 1.5 month's rent. The apartment is a Duplex Penthouse 4BR/3BA walk-up on East 96th Street. The building is clean, with a live-in super (walk-up apartment). Some more info: -The bedroom is fairly large for NYC, and can accommodate a king or queen-size bed and some furniture (desk, chair, dresser, etc). There are also two closets with ample overhead storage. Also large windows which makes for lots of natural light. -Furnished common room -Full kitchen with pots/pans/dinnerware -You will be sharing the apartment with three roommates. They're outgoing, respectable young professional males in their mid-20s - early 30s (one investment banker, a tech entrepreneur, and a movie producer) -Fantastic restaurants, bars, parks (including Central Park and the East River Esplanade), supermarkets, museums, and shopping all within walking distance. -The apartment has a private roof deck with hammock and grill for spring/summer/fall events/hosting as well as another shared terrace. The room available has a private balcony attached. There is also a working fireplace in the common area. -Washer dryer is included as well. -High ceilings Available January 1st, 2017 for a 4 month sub-lease, extendable upon negotiation.
