So far my experience has been pretty great. Everyone from the leasing office has been extremely helpful and accomodating. The maintenance team has been quick to respond to service requests. The only real downside has been the limited resident parking remaining after 6pm and the fact that my couch was unable to fit into the service elevator.

I honestly can’t say I love or hate this place. I believe there is so much potential, however I’m not in the residential business so I don’t know what can and cannot actually be done. Sometimes I think it’s the people that live here that don’t care, other times I think management don’t take the compliment or suggestions seriously, it’s hard to pinpoint the problem.

I’ve lived here for over a year during that time there has been one maybe two months that all of the elevators in the building have been functional. One of the only two elevators that takes residents to the basement has been out of order for over a year without communication. The resident events are nice and I wish the pool was available for than 3 months out of the year.

Great leasing staff! Anytime I call the office with an issue I get a quick response to resolve my issue. You don’t really see a lot of people but when you do they’re extremely friendly. Lots of cute pups too!

The new management is rude and disrespectful. I pay way too much to feel like I am not “home”, the building is falling apart, and I have had nothing but problems for the past year here.

Great place to live. Good management cleaning crew keeps the floors and area clean at all time. Maintenance crew very responsive and complete jobs in a timely manner.

I really enjoy living in this apartment building. It’s well maintained, quiet, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The location is convenient, the neighbors are nice, and overall it feels like home. Definitely happy I chose to live here!

Overall a good experience since moving here. The gym is lovely, the complex is usually always kept up and clean, the neighborhood is walkable, I love the little events that go on within the community every month, and management always keeps us up to date on what’s happening/going to happen. The only things that I can say is that management needs to be a bit better at replying to emails and enforcing the parking situations better in the garage. We pay too much money a month for parking to have our assigned parking spots taken every day, then people parking in no parking areas and blocking people in spots because of it. Also, there’s not even enough parking spots in resident parking for all of the residents to park.

I love living at 225!! For it to be in the City I feel safe and comfortable living here. Haven’t come across any rude neighbors. My dog also enjoys it too.

Just based on the tour I’ve taken of the place it’s such a beautiful and lovely place to call home with much more to offer than just a place to stay but it’s a family oriented place where all would feel welcome.

This seems like a great community with very friendly and helpful staff. Even though I haven’t officially moved in yet, the experience so far has been very positive. I’m really looking forward to settling in and enjoying a comfortable and peaceful stay here.”

The apartment and amenities are nice, and the location is convenient to the inner harbor, sports stadiums, and the train station. The leasing staff recently changed, and the new staff seem to be slower at getting issues in the building fixed. The apartment has a really cool penthouse with games and a theater room, but the TV in the theater is totally worn out so everything on the screen looks blue. The apartment gym is great with a good amount of cardio equipment (except for stairmaster).

move in at the beginning was rocky but my husband and i are so in love with the place! the amenities are great too! we have a god and he loved the dog park as well

Overall, a great place to have lived for the last 3 years. Any issues I ever had were minor and resolvable by apartment management or by myself. Can't beat waking up to a view of the city and the free coffee from the lobby. I'll definitely miss walking to the Baltimore Farmer's Market on Sundays and down to the Inner Harbor for various events and to just enjoy the sights.

It's good but not overall great. There is definitely improvement that is needed with the professionalism and promptness of staff. Also complex is not staying as clean as it was previously when we moved in.

Leasing process did not go too well. Office staff was not reachable and very little help was given. I felt ignored and that my business was not appreciated.

I’ve been a resident at 225 N Calvert Street for a while, and while I used to love this place under the previous management (before 2025), things have gone downhill since the new management took over. • Management response is very poor now. It’s difficult to get timely help or updates. • We’ve had ongoing A/C issues, which are especially frustrating during extreme weather. • Utility bills are unusually high, both in winter and summer. • Fire alarms go off multiple times each month, forcing us to take the stairs frequently—even when there’s no real emergency. • There’s no management presence on weekends (Saturday or Sunday), which is very inconvenient when urgent issues arise. If I were rating the previous management, I would give them 5/5 stars. But the new management gets 0/5 for their lack of support and poor maintenance. I hope the management takes steps to improve, as this building has great potential but is not being handled properly anymore.

I moved into 225 for the size of my apartment, the ability to have a reserved parking spot and the amenities. I was happy to pay the amenity fee of $300 knowing I could invite a friend or two over to enjoy the penthouse with me but what has happened in the last 6 months is that the penthouse is rented out every weekend, sometimes consecutively by someone running a business. The residents no longer have access to that area, even the outside area ( which we used to have) and frequently we get a last minute notice or not at all. We should be notified a week in advance. Also, the building seems to not be as clean as it was in the past. Many of us noticed trash and food all over the pool deck over the weekend. Unfortunately residents in this building do not report issues, they just make a statement that they won't be renewing. With this summer heat we are noticing the hallways are humid and that can cause more of an odor problem. I hope things improve.

I have asked to fix my A/C but they came and fixed nothing. Today my unit was 83 F while I had my A/C thermostat on 65. I am thinking to move after my lease finish this year.

225 N Calvert has been a great introduction to my time in Baltimore. Affordable at my income, I have access to many amenities and live walking distance from the inner harbor. Sure there are some small issues, but my overall experience has been good, which I feel speaks volumes.

Really enjoying living here! The building is clean and the team is always friendly and helpful. My apartment gets great light, and it is surprisingly quiet for the location. It’s just a cozy, easy place to come home to.

Leasing agents were great! I felt like they really listened to what I wanted and when I was looking for I’ve been emailing them a lot and they have responded so quickly to my emails as well as my phone calls and I’m overall very happy

I love this apartment; however, while the amenities are nice and the gym is better than many others, I wish the gym had a little more equipment (e.g., leg press, ab machine, abduction/adduction machine).

Aside from the frequent fire alarms and the AC/heating unit that would have to get "fixed" every so often, the amenities and comfort of the building make it a nice plan to live.

Very clean and safe. All staffs are so kind and heartwarming. They hold fun and exciting events every months. This is also very nice part of them.

Everything is great so far. I loved the tour! The management is nice and easy to work with. I have not moved in, yet, but they make me feel right at home already.

Location is perfect and just a short walk to the harbor. Staff is amazing! Maintenance has quick response time and super easy to request. The gym is fully equipped, clean, and never crowded. Love love love this property!

I have been living here at 225 for a little over 3 years and haven't had any issues! Maintenance is responsive, theres a dedicated place to pick up packages, and I haven't seen any pests since moving in. Great experience!

One of the greatest places to live in Bmore! I love this building. The people are nice, the service help you when your stuff in your apartment is messed up. They are very friendly! Would recommend!

Nice apartments, quiet atmosphere, good neighborhood, close to the port. There's also a supermarket three blocks away. Overall, it's a good place to live.

I absolutely love residing here. The views match my inner perspective…and allow me so much peace and serenity. Watching the sunrise and sunset are truly inspiring within themselves. The amenities have done me righteously as well. 5 stars!!

I’ve been living in this apartment building for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic experience! The amenities are well-maintained, the management is responsive, and the community is welcoming. The location is super convenient, and the overall atmosphere makes it feel like home.

This place was great under the previous management and staff. Towards the end, I noticed that the concierge desk wasn’t staffed as often, events went from being 2-3x a month to once a month, and there are so many issues with elevators not working and water pipes bursting/leaking. Not to mention the dog pee in the elevators!

Management has been exceptional, providing outstanding customer service and invaluable assistance in finding the perfect home for me, especially Tina, Keirstian, and Mechelle.

I relocated back to Baltimore from Atlanta for work and needed to find a place quickly. Keirstian has made my transition through this entire process smooth and stress free! Very responsive and answered all my questions to relieve any worry with me not being able to view property before hand due to me still being in GA. Can’t wait to join and move in the community!

Great community with great amenities. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Community areas are always kept clean. Located in downtown Baltimore but feels very safe.

Parking is scarce, having issues within the building goes unaddressed and utility bills have skyrocketed with no explanation. Only perks are you have an attached garage and the cleaners do the best they can to keep the place clean.

Need improvement with the management. Other than that nice apartments to live. The location is great and is walking distance from the inner harbor.

Just moved in a month ago and it’s off to a good start. I was unable to tour in person and had to do a virtual tour but the pictures look just alike. So far I haven’t had any issues with crime or car break ins, the parking garage seems to be very secured. (Knocks on wood) I like how spacious my apartment is and the amenities are nice, I will say that I have attempted to use the coffee machine once and it wasn’t working so I left it alone. I was looking forward to some coffee that day so it was a bit unfortunate. Walls seems to be good enough, I can’t always hear my neighbors but I can smell them though when they decide to smoke even though they’re not supposed to. Nonetheless, I would recommend the move here. I’m enjoying it.

I enjoy every component of living here. A very peaceful environment, despite being in the middle of the city. All of the amenities are excellent and the staff is very accommodating. Anytime I have guests they too are impressed by the standard held at 225 N Calvert St!
