So far my experience has been pretty great. Everyone from the leasing office has been extremely helpful and accomodating. The maintenance team has been quick to respond to service requests. The only real downside has been the limited resident parking remaining after 6pm and the fact that my couch was unable to fit into the service elevator.

I honestly can’t say I love or hate this place. I believe there is so much potential, however I’m not in the residential business so I don’t know what can and cannot actually be done. Sometimes I think it’s the people that live here that don’t care, other times I think management don’t take the compliment or suggestions seriously, it’s hard to pinpoint the problem.

I’ve lived here for over a year during that time there has been one maybe two months that all of the elevators in the building have been functional. One of the only two elevators that takes residents to the basement has been out of order for over a year without communication. The resident events are nice and I wish the pool was available for than 3 months out of the year.

Overall a good experience since moving here. The gym is lovely, the complex is usually always kept up and clean, the neighborhood is walkable, I love the little events that go on within the community every month, and management always keeps us up to date on what’s happening/going to happen. The only things that I can say is that management needs to be a bit better at replying to emails and enforcing the parking situations better in the garage. We pay too much money a month for parking to have our assigned parking spots taken every day, then people parking in no parking areas and blocking people in spots because of it. Also, there’s not even enough parking spots in resident parking for all of the residents to park.

The apartment and amenities are nice, and the location is convenient to the inner harbor, sports stadiums, and the train station. The leasing staff recently changed, and the new staff seem to be slower at getting issues in the building fixed. The apartment has a really cool penthouse with games and a theater room, but the TV in the theater is totally worn out so everything on the screen looks blue. The apartment gym is great with a good amount of cardio equipment (except for stairmaster).

Overall, a great place to have lived for the last 3 years. Any issues I ever had were minor and resolvable by apartment management or by myself. Can't beat waking up to a view of the city and the free coffee from the lobby. I'll definitely miss walking to the Baltimore Farmer's Market on Sundays and down to the Inner Harbor for various events and to just enjoy the sights.

225 N Calvert Street – Disappointed with New Management (2025)

I’ve been a resident at 225 N Calvert Street for a while, and while I used to love this place under the previous management (before 2025), things have gone downhill since the new management took over. • Management response is very poor now. It’s difficult to get timely help or updates. • We’ve had ongoing A/C issues, which are especially frustrating during extreme weather. • Utility bills are unusually high, both in winter and summer. • Fire alarms go off multiple times each month, forcing us to take the stairs frequently—even when there’s no real emergency. • There’s no management presence on weekends (Saturday or Sunday), which is very inconvenient when urgent issues arise. If I were rating the previous management, I would give them 5/5 stars. But the new management gets 0/5 for their lack of support and poor maintenance. I hope the management takes steps to improve, as this building has great potential but is not being handled properly anymore.

I moved into 225 for the size of my apartment, the ability to have a reserved parking spot and the amenities. I was happy to pay the amenity fee of $300 knowing I could invite a friend or two over to enjoy the penthouse with me but what has happened in the last 6 months is that the penthouse is rented out every weekend, sometimes consecutively by someone running a business. The residents no longer have access to that area, even the outside area ( which we used to have) and frequently we get a last minute notice or not at all. We should be notified a week in advance. Also, the building seems to not be as clean as it was in the past. Many of us noticed trash and food all over the pool deck over the weekend. Unfortunately residents in this building do not report issues, they just make a statement that they won't be renewing. With this summer heat we are noticing the hallways are humid and that can cause more of an odor problem. I hope things improve.

This place was great under the previous management and staff. Towards the end, I noticed that the concierge desk wasn’t staffed as often, events went from being 2-3x a month to once a month, and there are so many issues with elevators not working and water pipes bursting/leaking. Not to mention the dog pee in the elevators!

Parking is scarce, having issues within the building goes unaddressed and utility bills have skyrocketed with no explanation. Only perks are you have an attached garage and the cleaners do the best they can to keep the place clean.

Just moved in a month ago and it’s off to a good start. I was unable to tour in person and had to do a virtual tour but the pictures look just alike. So far I haven’t had any issues with crime or car break ins, the parking garage seems to be very secured. (Knocks on wood) I like how spacious my apartment is and the amenities are nice, I will say that I have attempted to use the coffee machine once and it wasn’t working so I left it alone. I was looking forward to some coffee that day so it was a bit unfortunate. Walls seems to be good enough, I can’t always hear my neighbors but I can smell them though when they decide to smoke even though they’re not supposed to. Nonetheless, I would recommend the move here. I’m enjoying it.
