Rent at own risk

I rented this apartment early 2013 since then it has been an absolute nightmare . I'm not sure what's worse the constant crowds hanging in front of the building, blocking the door and they don't even live here. Or maybe the constant need for repairs with the apartment that take months to even start fixing ! Or how about the burglary due to my door lock constantly malfunctioning and letting. The door crack open . Or how about removal of my gas meter due to as Conedison (my power provider)explained to the owner "the pipes are leaking gas, he needs a licensed plumber to do the repairs and have it inspected before they can unblock two apartments gas lines, as it is a fire hazard " the owner out right told the coned manager she was lying and he wasn't doing any repairs ! I have no got water and no gas so for the past five months I have had to use a "hot plate " "microwave" and "toaster oven " to cook and an "electric shower head " to bath with . The owner absolutely refuses to do repairs . Rent at own risk over priced severely lacking repair and superintendent .
