About This Home
Starting in March or April (flexible), I'm leasing my Dupont Circle studio for $1,850 a month. I own this condo, but the current tenant is moving to a new house of her own. And to be honest, I wouldn't have left this adorable place if I hadn't gotten married a few years ago either! What's to love about the condo? • Light and open studio two blocks off Dupont Circle (NW DC) • Washer/dryer is in the unit - think: unlimited loads of laundry and no quarters • Great closet that you can walk into (where W/D is) but is never stuffy and has great storage space • Living space is perfectly portioned between sleeping and lounging • Wood flooring • A working fireplace - you heard me - a fireplace that you can actually use (!) • Two-counter full galley-style kitchen with lots of cabinet space, a garbage disposal, and a dishwasher. What will you love about the location? • Less than two blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro stop • 13 minute walk to Foggy Bottom Metro stop - easily can get into Virginia this way! • Trader Joe's is within a 10 minute walk • One block CVS for your convenience along with multiple restaurants & night life, but never too loud • Secure building • For any workout nuts, Equinox and Barry's are all within a 10 minute walk • Coffee shops up the wazoo - Philz and Kramer's Books are both a 3-5 minute walk • The street is quiet and the building tenants are very sweet Who is this place perfect for? • A grad student who is looking to live alone with their own space • A young professional working in Foggy Bottom, K St., or downtown • Anyone looking to make a move to their own place; great starter condo to living by yourself • Anyone who wants to live in a cozy, clean, and well-located condo NEXT STEPS: • Reply to the ad to schedule a tour with a little about yourself and when you'd be available to move in • If it's right for both of us, you'd sign your 1 year lease with me, submit payment for security deposit ($1,850) and first month's rent! THINGS TO KNOW: • Available between 3/1 and 4/1; open to move-in date (no later than 4/1) • Water included in utilities; tenant pays gas/electric & cable/internet • Tenant pays one-time HOA move-in fees ($400) • No pets :( • Application Fee: All residents must submit application; inquire to this post for application (24 hour response time guaranteed)

Legendary Americans from Frederick Douglass to Woodrow Wilson have called Dupont Circle home at various points over the past two centuries, and it continues to be a highly desirable place to live. The historic architecture of the neighborhood (particularly in the Victorian-era rowhouses) contributes to a distinctly European flair in much of Dupont Circle. This, combined with the presence of numerous foreign embassies and countless international restaurants, creates an unparalleled cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The dining scene also includes a vast selection of more traditional eateries, low-key coffee shops, and convenient grocery stores, giving most folks the option to pick up a quick bite to eat or a week’s worth of necessities with ease. For off hours, museums and galleries are close at hand, and the eclectic nightlife offerings span from alternative rock venues to glitzy clubs to high-end cocktail bars.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
