Her experience in negotiations includes years as an oil tanker broker, mediating deals between oil traders and ship owners, working as an elected member to the Weston Board of Education where she served on the contracts negotiation committee, and partnering with architects and town building committee members to ensure that school construction moved forward properly, staying on task within the educational guidelines outlined for the project. Thanks to a reputation for great listening skills, ability to manage conflicting issues in a positive way, and integrity, Barbara was appointed to the Town of Weston Panel of Moderators and is the only Realtor serving on Weston’s Strategic Planning Committee.
