Property Ratings at 2 Rivers Apartment Homes
Beautiful property in a great location. I love my apartment and the maintenance team is prompt, amazing, and professional. However the ladies in the office are very rude and unprofessional. They never answer the phone but can call when they need you to do something. They put letters on your door about lease violations that don't even pertain to you and threatens to terminate your lease. Example: "If you don't pick up your dogs poo this is a lease violation and could lead to termination of your lease." I totally understand this. Who wants to step in poo. the problem is I don't own a dog! This is one of many violations they will put on your door and threaten the loss of your home. I have always paid my rent on time, I am a quiet tenant, and I stay to myself. How dare they threaten my home! My deposit was changed 5 times before I actually moved in. This was by far the worst process in my experience of renting. The office staff make this community unpleasant. I am not the first one to complain about the staff and won't be the last. I wish corporate would address this ongoing issue.
The apartments are beautiful and the property is in a beautiful setting. The maintenance team is top notch. BUT ... Some of the neighbors are spoiling the place. Fights, noise, smoking are an everyday occurrence once there is no one in the office. It's a shame because the setting and the team deserve 5 stars.

No one in the office answers the phone. They do not respond to emails or texts. If you go to the office, they act like you are an inconvenience. Terrible customer service.

I applied for this property in February in which I had to make the drive to Gloucester to do so. I gave them everything that was required in March when I was emailed that they were running credit and processing applications. I was approved, paid my security deposit as well as some monies on the rent, given an address and then I was told that I needed to bring in more paperwork and then again more paperwork! I was told that my approval was a pre-approval, which I wasn't informed of before, because why would I be given an address?! I have constantly called, emailed, dropped by and left voicemail messages, but to no avail I haven't been contacted with any information about what is going on. If this is indicative of how the leasing office is to handle the tenants then I'm going to pass on this property!

Everytime I called a rude lady answers the phone and always make excuses on why the asst manager isnt available. Went in person she lied and told the coworker to tell the person who had called her that she was in a meeting when she was just sitting on her phone . sitting on her phone so long she didnt acknowledge me in front of her face turning in the application. Told us one thing about the income just when we get to application its something completely different. Asst managemer had animosity and felt like she didnt want to help us at all. the vibe was intense. Also she already requesting all these days off and literally just started working poor management I dont even want to move their anymore.

I’ve been emailing this place since July 2023 I was told they are not taking application at the time and they will let me know when they do. I I decided to Email two Months just for an update just in case. I received the email on February 4 that they are accepting applications and to go drop it off at the Riverbend location. I dropped off my application February 5 and was told they will email me for other documents. I received the email on March 18 to send in paystub‘s and social. She will respond back to everybody on the 25th and process on April 1. I did not receive a response back on the 25th so I waited and waited. I emailed the lady I emailed back in July to let her know that I have not received any updates on April 18. She emailed me a couple days later. Let me know if I didn’t hear anything back to call riverbend .i called the next day since I didn’t hear anything back And was told to come in on the 23rd. On the morning of the 23rd, I called just to confirm my appointment and was told I didn’t have an appointment today, but I can come in at 2 o’clock. I got there at two and was disappointed. There were no more apartments available with my pay my pay range. And honestly, I believe if it was better communication on their end then this wouldn’t have happened. Hopefully everyone else Experience Is a good one I know that their Communication is Horrible. Supposedly, they’re going in order they received their application i guess i wasn’t quick enough, also what’s the point of me sending my paystub and social security number thru email if they wasn’t going to check everything before making me take a trip all the way to gloucester! hopefully they get better at communicating with people !

My family and I have been trying to get a hold of the complex to check out the availability. Left several messages and called countless amounts of time. Still no response. It’s been more than a month that we’ve been waiting. We are interested in this property but feel very ignored. Not a good way to start off 2 Rivers.
