About This Home
This home, built in 2021, is a sight for sore eyes. All the amenities such as dishwasher, laundry machine, fridge and AC are all fresh out of the box. This beautiful home is located in a quiet neighborhood in Randle Highlands and is less than a mile from all the major highways. You'll have quick access to downtown DC and Alexandria. There is a grocery store about two miles away. We also have a small yard in the back that is perfect for cookouts and barbecues. So if you're looking to live with young professionals surrounded by modern living features, then this is the spot for you. The room available is on the second floor and it has a bathroom in the hallway that is shared with another tenant that is barely around. He is here mostly Monday night - Thursday so it will mostly just be you. It is spacious and has a closet both in the room and an additional one in the hallway that you could use. The lease will be a year long and UTILITIES AND INTERNET ARE INCLUDED. COMES WITH A TABLE AND BED (see pictures) There is no shortage of street parking in the neighborhood. I like to keep a clean house so I expect everyone to be clean with the shared space. There is also absolutely no smoking IN the house (we have a yard for that). No Pets Allowed.

The historic Anacostia neighborhood in Washington, DC flaunts its classic character within its businesses and architecture. This residential community consists of Italianate and cottage-style houses along with a few scattered Queen Anne homes and brick-row houses. The heart of the neighborhood sits directly across the Frederick Douglass Bridge.
Anacostia has two excellent museums, a growing art scene and a year-round ice rink, and it attracts residents with the Washington Nationals Stadium and its well-known landmark, the World's Largest Chair. The intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Good Hope Road marks Downtown Anacostia. Located five miles southeast of Washington, this area stands as one of the most famous neighborhoods in the southeast area of the city. The Anacostia Historic District took its place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
