For shopping, the Italian Market and the large Acme supermarket are a short walk away. Also nearby is the East Passyunk Avenue shopping district with all of its restaurants and bars - (P.O.P.E., Cantina, Benna's Coffee, Black and Brew, and of course Pat's and Geno's) For transportation, the 7th and 8th Street buses stops right at the corner. Also, center city is about a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute bicycle ride. Only eigth blocks south of Bella Vista, Queen Village, Washington Square West, Pennsport but at half the price!
