Five minute drive, or 20 minute walk to Faulkner Hospital; 5-15 minute drive to Brookline, Chestnut Hill, and West Roxbury. 15-20 minute drive to Longwood. This property is quiet, clean, and private, and is conveniently located a one minute walk to the arboretum. Very easy to take beautiful walks/hikes. Property is centrally located - right on the Jamaica Plain border (where there's a Whole Foods). Walk 10 minutes to Roslindale Village for bars, excellent restaurants, groceries, Target, bakeries, farmers market, bookstore, Roslindale Village commuter rail, etc. Gym at the end of the block. The bonus room can be used for storage or an office, and there is plenty of storage in the shelved basement. 15 minute drive to Legacy Place mall (with movie theater and Whole Foods) in Dedham, which is right next to I 93 & I 95. Lower Washington-Mount Hope is a walkable neighborhood about eight miles south of Boston via Interstate 93 or public transit. Despite this area’s dense population, Lower Washington-Mount Hope has many wooded areas, and large parks like Bussey Brook Meadow and Franklin Park surround the neighborhood. Along with residential neighborhoods, a few shops and eateries can be found in town along American Legion Highway. Many residents travel to the western corner of town to get to the shopping plaza off Corinth Street for all the necessities.
