About the Home: This side of the duplex was fully renovated in 2019 and offers a thoughtful balance of historic charm and modern comfort. Highlights include: - Stone countertops and a gas stovetop in the kitchen - Heated bidets installed in bathrooms - Washer and dryer in-unit - Water included in rent - Internet-ready (you choose your provider) - New dishwasher being installed at move-in - Doorbell camera installed for added security - Great neighbors & monthly meetups down the street - Peaceful, landscaped backyard garden (scheduled maintenance included in rent) - Shaded front porch perfect for morning coffee - Quiet, oak-lined boulevard out front - Walking distance from St. Claude / Marigny for restaurants and nightlife - Grocery stores within 1 mile (Roberts and NOLA Food Co-op) The Setup: The unit is unfurnished and will be clean and move-in ready. We’ll continue to operate a short-term rental on the other side (1612) to have a home base for our visits, family gatherings, and work. The backyard will be the only shared space. It’s a quiet, respectful setup that’s worked beautifully for years. Local Property Managers You’ll Love: We've hired our friends (and tenants) Jake and Rachel as our local property managers. They’re reliable, friendly, and just genuinely great people. They'll be your point of contact for any maintenance, repairs, or lawn care — and they live just 7 minutes away. We also own another duplex near Lafitte’s Greenway, where Jake and Rachel live and manage two long-term rentals, so they’re seasoned and super responsive. If you're looking for a peaceful, well-maintained space with a community feel, this could be a perfect fit.
