Roughly an hour south of Syracuse, Binghamton is a thriving cultural center with countless entertainment options for residents. The downtown area is locally known as “Center City,” and it is indeed the epicenter for the business and leisure activity in town. Binghamton University’s downtown campus adds a distinct college town vibe to the community—the nightlife in particular is electric.

The local arts scene rivals many larger cities in breadth and scope with a large population of artists contributing to numerous galleries and public events around town.
