Stepping onto the property you are transported away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles into the tranquil courtyard full of lush greenery. This bungalow beckons you stay and chill inside or sit on the balcony instead of heading out to the plethora of opportunities that the neighborhood provides. Within a mile are tons of boutique shops (Crossroads, Wacko, Skylight Books), restaurants (Cliffs Edge, Forage, Spits, Homestate, The Best Fish Tacos in Ensenada), coffee shops (Caffe Vita, Intelligentsia, dinosaur coffee), and bars (Lucky Bar, Tiki Bar, Akbar). You can find the historic Vista movie theater 2 blocks down the street, a grocery store 3 blocks away, and of course the incredibly large Griffith Park which is 1.7 miles from your door. Even closer is Barnsdale Art park, which provides a beautiful view of the sunset as you sit on the lawn next to Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock house. You will also find the Metro Red Line Rail Station (Vermont / Sunset) very practical for traveling downtown or up to North Hollywood. Why not transfer trains and go to Santa Monica, Long Beach, or Pasadena? This bungalow is great because you don't share any walls with another unit. It has a mini-split to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There is a coin operated laundry machine on the property and the owner pays for utilities (including wifi). You'll love the French windows that open up to the Balcony as you sit and enjoy the sunrise, sipping your coffee. There are a few common areas where you can relax and enjoy the views of the Franklin Hills. Parking is curbside, which always has an option within a block, except when street cleaning comes on Wednesday and Friday morning (8am-10).
