Around 1900, it was determined that Raleigh needed some suburbs -- the streetcar was available by then, and residents could move a little farther from the city center. Several neighborhoods were created between 1910 and 1950: Hayes Barton, Georgetown, Roanoke Park, Vanguard Park, and Bloomsbury. These five neighborhoods were clustered around the five-point intersection of Glenwood Avenue, Whitaker Mill Road, and Fairview Road. Today, those five neighborhoods are known as the Five Points Historic Neighborhoods.
There are four historic districts within Five Points: the Vanguard Park District, the Bloomsbury District, the Roanoke Park District, and the Hayes Barton District. Each district has its own characteristics, making the Five Points neighborhood one of the most unique and diverse in Raleigh. Housing ranges from 1900s bungalows and cottages to more elaborate Colonia Revival and Queen Anne style homes.

Great location really nice units
I enjoyed living at the property. The units are nicely updated, the location is awesome and the property manager was very responsive to any issues that came up.

Good location, responsive landlord, just not always the best response
Great location, some nice updates inside the apartment, and a good app/website for submitting repairs/issue but repairs are not handled appropriately. My apartment flooded and they threw all of my furniture and items in one room (literally threw, you could not walk and furniture/items were not neatly or appropriately placed). Water leaked down the walls and the walls in my opinion were not properly mitigated - no portion of the sheet rock was cut out and no blowers placed inside to dry out the walls. AC ducts were filthy and not cleaned. Noticed mold in some spots and was told it was just "dirt". The landlord is great working with you when it comes to pets, credit score, income, etc., and he does respond quickly when you have issues. I just do not think he responded appropriately to some repairs.
