About This Home
Welcome to 138 High Hammock, a beautifully renovated first-floor villa nestled on a private street in the heart of Seabrook Island, offering the best intersection of peaceful relaxation and recreational coastal living. The updated floor plan, with new vinyl flooring throughout, offers a living dining room, open kitchen, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a laundry area. A covered, private patio with table and Adirondack chairs overlooks the tranquil wooded area and offers a peek of Ocean Winds' ninth hole. The beach and Seabrook Island club are also just a short bike ride or scenic walk away. Guests enter into the open space living area, tastefully decorated in a palette of serene coastal colors. A comfortable couch, ample seating, ceiling fan, and large smart screen TV open to the private, covered patio area. An updated full bath, with shower, toilet, and vanity, is located off the living area. The dining area offers a table and chairs for dining, game night, or entertaining. The open kitchen features new stainless appliances, subway tile, quartz counters, and ample storage. A standard coffee maker, a Keurig, blender, and ample cookware and serveware make cooking a breeze. A hallway leads to two bedrooms and a laundry area with its own washer and dryer. The Master bedroom, with en-suite bath, features a plush queen bed, closet, ceiling fan, and TV. The updated Master bathroom offers an oversized shower, vanity, toilet, and selection of plush, white towels. The guest bedroom features two twin beds, TV, blackout curtains, and access to the secluded walk-out patio. Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis, and award-winning golf. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Parking allows for a maximum of 2 vehicle gate passes with a $45 fee per vehicle for guests staying 1 to 179 nights. Beach towels are not included, although towel service is available at the Beach Club. Seabrook Island is home to a private beachfront community with two championship golf courses, a tournament-grade tennis center, full-service equestrian center, fitness and aquatics complex, and vast unspoiled beaches. Also located on the island are Freshfields Village and Bohicket Marina. Freshfields Village is a unique town center mix of shopping, dining, and service establishments in a stylish and relaxed outdoor environment between Seabrook Island and neighboring Kiawah Island. Bohicket Marina is home to 200 wet slips, a quaint market with wonderful restaurants and shops, and some of the best sunsets the Lowcountry has to offer. No pets are permitted at this property. LSV vehicles, low-speed golf carts, are unfortunately prohibited at the villa complex. Smoking is not allowed, and violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages. For convenience, a prompt self check-in process is available with a code for the keypad on the door. This property is open to winter monthly rentals and long-term rentals. Please contact us for discounted monthly rental rates. In the event of a storm, if a mandatory evacuation order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, a refund will be issued. However, if there is inclement weather in other states prohibiting travel to Charleston, a refund will not be issued.

Johns Island sits on the South Carolina state line just south of the Charleston peninsula and is bordered to the north by the Stono and Wadmalaw Rivers. As the largest island in South Carolina, Johns Island encompasses an array of island living options and popular Lowcountry destinations. Upscale, modern apartment complexes and historic single-family homes can be found closer to the north of the island near Charleston.
The southern reaches of the island don’t lend themselves very well to large-scale residential development because of the surrounding marshland. However, the marshland is what makes Johns Island a hotspot for seafood and Lowcountry cuisine in general. Boating and fishing are wildly popular on the island, and many residents enjoy waterway access from their very own homes. The Angel Oak Tree is a popular tourist hotspot. The 60-foot-tall oak has a massive canopy that evokes the classic look of Lowcountry living.
