What’s goin on all my Seattle Newbies? Hear me out; we’ve got a lake house with a dock and are looking to fill it with young professionals newly out of college who are wanting to live with folks their age and have a solid friend group base to kick off their move to Seattle. You’ll notice we don’t have the best of photos with the furnishings. That’s because the previous tenants haven’t fully moved out yet and we haven’t gotten the chance to put the new furnishings in (new furniture, Seattle wall art, 65 inch TV’s etc) Priorities are finding people who are serious about keeping the kitchen, bathroom, and common areas clean (c’mon dates are gonna come over - let’s have the lake house impressively presentable, yea?). Another priority is people who are friendly, down to hang out in common areas / keep and open bedroom door kinda vibe but also come 9-10pm keep quiet or head down to the guest house / lakeside living room (yes there’s a lakeside living room / guest house - you’ll see when you tour). Another important thing to note is this is NOT a party house. Sure, birthdays, holidays, fun excuses to have social gatherings are going to have the fire pit blazing and the backyard filled with friends but nightly or weekly parties are not gonna be a thing. It’s not college. Again, house will stay clean. Moving to a new city can be overwhelming to say the least; however, this is an opportunity for you to build a group of friends early on while settling into Seattle at your own pace. We’ll be weighing our options and if you’re a good fit for the house vibe then we’ll move to application, signing the lease, shooting a deposit to hold your room, badda boom badda bang we’ll have you moving in / lease starting August 1 (preferably, but can be flexible).
