About This Home
This is a house-share apartment rental. Renter alone occupies the 3rd level (top floor) where there is a master bedroom, master bathroom and extra study room (which also includes a bed). The 2nd floor (entrance level) includes the shared space of a kitchen, dining room and living room area. You are welcome to use these areas as you wish. With a little coordination, this shared space is manageable. A clean and sanitary house is maintained daily and with regular use of the dishwasher. Property owner occupies the 1st level (basement) where there is a washer and dryer accessible through the basement door inside or from the outside. About the property: The house is located close to Kingsman Community Park and a 5-10m walk to Lincoln Park on Capitol Hill (NE). The neighborhood is safe, quiet and very close to public transportation (or city bikes) which you can use if needed. It is a 15m walk to Union Station or Eastern Market. About me: I am graduate student and property owner occupying the 1st level (basement level) with my fiancé. Full disclosure, I am a ?????? man with a male fiancé who stays with me often through the week, though has his own place. Ideal for graduate students, interns, or short-term assignments, etc. Utilities are INCLUDED (electric, water, cable/wifi) Must have two (2) references. No smoking. No pets. Detailed, Professional.

While Capitol Hill may conjure images of national landmarks and policymaking, it’s also one of the largest and oldest residential neighborhoods in D.C. Rowhouses of various styles and periods sit along tree-lined streets in Capitol Hill, as well as several apartment buildings and condominiums. Known for its walkability, Capitol Hill is teeming with community gardens and local parks, including Stanton Park and Garfield Park, in addition to all kinds of international cuisine. The historic Eastern Market and Barracks Row offer a wide range of culinary delights and shopping opportunities.
Capitol Hill is convenient to multiple Metro stations, I-695, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, allowing residents simple commutes and travels.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
