Butler, New Jersey began in 1881 when a New York businessman purchased an already-existing hard rubber manufacturing company – and his name was Richard Butler. After the establishment of the local post office, construction for a larger railroad and town train station took off, eventually taking the name Butler Railroad Station. Today, it serves as a museum.
Residents can enjoy the simple pleasures from sips at High Point Brewing Company to walks through any one of the major parks. For easy accessibility to shops, eateries, and other neighborhoods, residents use Route 23, which turns into I-287.
