Wayland Square - private bedroom in a 3-bedroom apartment. Available Sept 1st or sooner. First month and security deposit to move in ($1600 total), paid to the property owner. Rent is paid via check to the owner each month (all three housemates pay separately, not as one lump sum). I am looking for someone to take over my lease which runs until May 2025. Shorter term is optional if you want 6 months or 10 months. I moved in December 2023 and this place is really nice, I have loved living here. I commute from Philadelphia for a hybrid /remote job here in Providence. I don't come up as often as I thought I would (only a few times per month) so it just doesn't make sense for me to rent a room when I am here so infrequently. If you tour the space and decide to go forward, the next step will be submitting an application to the property manager. $800/month, +internet + electric (usually around $70 per person). Total comes to $850 - $870/month. Heat in the winter is included in the rent (radiators). Wifi and electric bill are split between three housemates. The property manger is responsive, decent management. The other two housemates are two guys in their early 30's, both work two jobs and keep to themselves so the house is very quiet and chill. About the house: Remodeled kitchen and bath, new windows, ample closet space, hardwood floors, off street parking, on-site laundry. Kitchen is fully stocked, tons of storage space available (pantry, lots of cabinet space). About the neighborhood: Walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery, pharmacies, Blackstone Blvd. Five minute walk to Whole Foods, CVS, Starbucks, UPS, Providence Wine Bar, coffee shops, Thai food, pizza place. Ample free street parking everywhere. RIPTA bus to downtown is 10 minutes. Storage shed in back of house if you want to store a bicycle. Basement has lots of storage.
