Faded Glory

This building was the townhouse of an illustrious doctor in the late 1800s, now it's home to a bunch of bijou walk up studio apartments. The building still has great bones, but amenities are spare. Positives: Great light, big windows on 2 exposures, close to subways, parks, nightlife. Nice neighbors, undemanding landlord, some of apartments are still a great value for Manhattan. Cons: Slow responding landlord & super, steep stairs, and old pipes. Closest laundry is a block away. The coffee shop on the ground floor has recently been taken over by a psychic, the plus side to that is that the lobby has never been cleaner.
