About This Home

12 Month Lease, $2,300 deposit, Available Jun 27

121 Santa Fe is a tri-plex that was built in 1910 (originally as a "cat house"). Today, this place is great for a friendly quiet people, who don't mind "sharing the building" with other friendly quiet neighbors, and like being near an adorable little town close to the San Francisco bay. Unit A will be an updated 1 bed (plus a small office room), 1 bath, 1300 square foot apartment. There are windows in every room with a tall gas wall heater for chilly days. This year (2026), we will spend June to almost entirely refurbish the unit, so it will be modern and new by the time you move in. If you have a bunch of extra stuff, ask for below market pricing on the 6x8 storage shed in the backyard. If you walk out the front door, you'll stand on a private concrete patio that you can decorate with plants if you like. Walk outside and around and down the stairs to the utility room at back of house to use the washer and dryer that is shared with 1 other 1 bedroom unit. Walk out to the sidewalk and you'll know this is a nice neighborhood when facing a beautifully restored 1901 home across the street. One block away is the small historic town of Point Richmond, where you will find a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and art galleries. During the evening, you have your choice of watching a play at the little 50 person Masquer's playhouse, enjoying a lavish dinner at Hotel Mac, or listening to some quality live music at a nearby bar / restaurant. About 1 mile away are the Point Richmond hills which contain a maze of trails, great for mountain biking and hiking with some fantastic 3 bridge views (Golden Gate bridge, Richmond-San Rafael bridge, and Bay Bridge) Wonderfully sweet neighbors are on all sides. Richmond's best public elementary school is 4 blocks away. A bus stop is 1 block away (15min bus ride to BART). Applicants must have very clean credit and no criminal record. A fee per adult application will be applied to a credit and criminal record check with the application. Owner pays for water, sewer, trash service, and gardening. Tenant pays for PG&E and any optional phone/cable/internet service. There is only street parking available. No smoking. Richmond requires annual inspections of your unit for fire safety and unit habitability.

City - Richmond

Richmond sits on the shores of both San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay, giving it a waterfront character that sets it apart from most Bay Area cities its size. Point Richmond draws weekend explorers with its walkable historic streets, local shops, and Keller Beach, while Marina Bay offers scenic shoreline paths and the ferry terminal with a direct ride to San Francisco's Ferry Building. Nature lovers get serious mileage here too, with Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline, and Point Pinole all within easy reach. The Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park tells a compelling chapter of American history right along the waterfront.

Richmond's rental market gives renters solid variety, from classic bungalow-style units and garden-court apartment communities to newer waterfront condos near Marina Bay.
