Sitting squarely between Miami and Fort Lauderdale in southern Broward County, Miramar has grown from a small incorporated town of fewer than 200 residents in 1955 into one of the largest cities in the county. Its name traces back to a district in Havana, Cuba, a nod chosen by the city's founder that still reflects Miramar's deeply global character. Today, major employers like Spirit Airlines, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and Memorial Hospital Miramar anchor a steady local economy, giving the city a commercial weight that goes well beyond its suburban roots.
The Miramar Cultural Center and ArtsPark serves as a genuine civic hub, hosting performances and community gatherings throughout the year. Neighborhoods like Silver Lakes, Sunset Lakes, and Monarch Lakes each carry their own feel, from lakeside walking paths to newer streetscapes with easy freeway access. The Miramar Town Center area draws renters who want walkable access to shops and cultural venues without leaving the city.

About the Listing Agent
Antonio Correa
One Sotheby's International Realty
Antonio Correa did not start in real estate. He started in Italy, where he lived for 15 years, earned a technical degree in mechanical engineering, and spent eight years working as an engineer. He learned to read structure, cost and risk before he ever read a purchase contract. In 2019 he moved into South Florida real estate. Within four years he closed more transactions than any other agent in the Compass Miami Beach office. He earned his broker license in 2024 and was named one of the Top 20 Realtors Under 40 in Miami. In 2025 he founded ANCOR Group at ONE Sotheby's International Realty. With a newly assembled team, he closed $40.94 million in sales across 49 sides in a single year. His approach shows up best in the deals themselves. A buyer once called about a small beach cabana at Armani/Casa in Sunny Isles. Antonio walked him through the numbers and advised him to think bigger. The client bought a $6.6 million residence and sold his existing unit for $2.4 million. He has since purchased three more homes with Antonio, and those homes are now being resold between $7 million and $9 million. One phone call about a cabana became a relationship worth more than $30 million. He works the same way with investors. In late 2025 he represented investors on three waterfront acquisitions on Normandy Isle and Biscayne Point, from $5.9 million to $7.25 million. He did not stop at closing. Two of the homes are now moving toward lease at $20,000 and $28,000 per month, and the third is under negotiation to resell near $7 million. Buying is the first step. Antonio builds the plan to make the property earn. Antonio also invests his own money in the market he advises on. He has completed personal flips, managed roughly 10 client renovations as acting general contractor, and is pursuing his General Contractor license. He founded Income Wave MGT to manage property for his long-term clients. He serves buyers, sellers and investors across South Florida in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. His goal is a white-glove company supporting clients through every part of a transaction, an investment and ownership.
