Very spacious third floor apartment in peaceful stone Victorian house. You’ll need to love steps … but what a find! The property has its own staircase to the Old Croton Aqueduct trailway – a dream for runners and walkers, since you can go for miles. Directly behind the property, up those same steps, you’ll also find the Lenoir Nature Preserve, and there are other parks in the area, too. There’s a yard on the property, and gardens, where your convivial neighbors garden, grill, and even celebrate weddings together. Two of the bedrooms have year-round Hudson River views of the Palisades. It’s a perfect fit for active, athletic folks who work from home and value nature. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Greystone train stop on the Hudson River Line, with an easy commute into midtown. The hardwood floors were just refinished and walls freshly painted. You’ll find 3 bedrooms, a dining room, and a living room. The bathroom has a lovely, fresh feel. The kitchen is smaller but very functional, with a slate floor and happy vibe. The whole place feels like a peaceful treehouse. There’s laundry in the basement, and one off-street parking space. Nonsmokers only. No pets (we used to accept pets but had a bad experience with the last tenant). Ready for rent immediately. Viewings by appointment only; please email for appointment.
