About This Home
*******We only accept applications at ttps******** This funky adobe is one of the oldest buildings in the Dunbar Spring neighborhood. It is within walking distance of the 4th Ave Shopping District, Pima College, University of Arizona, and Downtown Tucson! Built in the 1890's, the original horse drawn Tucson Trolley used to board their horses behind this house. It is a true mud adobe, with high ceilings, Douglas fir floors, and the original tall sash windows. Every surface of this ancient house seems to tilt in a different direction! I love it this way, and have made every effort to preserve this structure without wiping away it's history. The crooked walls have been stabilized, and all the wiring has been replaced. The kitchen has a beautiful vintage O'Keefe and Merrit gas stove, along with metal cabinetry. Convenient parking and a small yard are also included. This house, like many others in the downtown area, is located very close to an active railroad. All prospective tenants are encouraged to listen to the train before signing a lease. This is a true shotgun apartment, with it's four rooms arranged in a line from front to back. The adobe construction keeps the space cool all summer, and the home has a high-efficiency air conditioner unit. Shared washing machine and dryer are also provided free of charge! 1bed/1bath 500 sqft Dunbar Spring Area Refrigerator Stove/Oven Downtown Tucson Area Pima Community College Area Adobe Walls Central Tucson Laundry on-site Wall-Mounted AC Off-street Parking The apartment consists of 4 rooms, with the following interior measurements: Living Room: 13 x 10 Bedroom: 10 x 10 Kitchen: 12 x 10 Bathroom: 8 x 10 A well-behaved and loved pet is welcome! The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
