Lots of storage space with wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling closets in the bedroom a pantry and a large closet in the foyer. Fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, dishwasher) with plenty of space and a window. The building: The building is well-maintained as the super lives in the building with his wife and two kids. The main elevator is recently replaced and the secondary elevator is being replaced as well. The laundry room is spacious/clean with 5 coin-operated washers and 4 dryers. The front of the building is being repointed. There are three security cameras, one at the entrance, one at the laundry room and one in front of the mail-room. The Location: Not only this is a great apartment, the location is unbeatable. Situated in the tree-lined, quaint 80th St. between Columbus and Amsterdam, just across the street from the Museum of Natural History and the Theodore Roosevelt park/dog run. It is one avenue away from central park and three avenues away from the Hudson River boat basin, bike path and riverside park. The best UWS restaurants are just around corner on Amsterdam and Broadway. Zabar's, Fairway, Trader Joe's and other supermarkets are all a few blocks away. Street parking on w 80th is free and it's availability is above average. Transportation: The B&C lines are an avenue away at 81st and Central Park West. The 1 is equally as close, on 79th and Broadway Cross-town M79 bus as well as M7 and M11 are just downstairs. Two minutes away from the 79th St. exit on Henry Hudson Parkway that will get you out of the city in a few minutes. The traffic lights on both Columbus ave (downtown-bound) and Amsterdam (uptown-bound) are synchronized, making a car/taxi ride as fast as it gets in Manhattan.
