The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 1 Martine at City Square
This building is great! Yes walls are thin, but that’s every building in the White Plains metro area. Maintenance requests are properly addressed and promptly completed and the staff in the lobby, especially Michael are beyond friendly and accommodating. Kathleen, the GDC resident activity manager is fabulous and takes our feedback and plans amazing community events. All in all very happy with my choice living here!
Really want to be able to give this more than 3 stars, as it has so much (wasted) potential... If you want a nice building in close proximity to the train, the place is good - but you will be overpaying for it. Management and maintenance are virtually non-existent - and mostly only reactive (i.e., you have to really complain to get even the smallest response). Concierge sees constant turnover resulting in very poor service (they don't know you, they're not trained properly and they don't mind leaving the desk for 15+ minutes at a time). Frequent construction noise on weekdays and weekends (and we're not just talking a little hammering, more like jack-hammers and what I assume are blowtorches), and fire alarms going off in the middle of the night - again, management doesn't acknowledge until several people have complained. Regularly scheduled events had been a big draw, but their quality and quantity have both gone downhill surprisingly fast (and are not always free, though everyone pays $75 a month already). All-in-all, the owner seems to have rushed the job, overspent in the process and is now penny-pinching. Staff must not be paid enough to care, and it shows. But at least an under-five-minute walk to the train is nice.
Repair employees ignore service requests, building crumbles and property manager cares for nobody. The ones listening to complaints are Erica and Jackie in the front, they are very patient

Property managers are terrible! As soon as you move into the building, there is an utter lack of professionalism or care for the tenants. There are so many better options in the area!
