Do you like the smell of trash & roaches?

Moved in January ‘25, similar to the other review, roaches throughout the entire building, every floor & every tenant has them. Don’t let anyone try to convince you they don’t exist because they do, you’ll easily be buying your own pesticide & bait to keep them them short but that isn’t a permanent solution as the entire building has them and for some reason the pest control service offered does nothing more Han address your room and say “there is no major activity” instead of bombing the building floor by floor or some other major effort.

Infested with cockroaches

Avoid Marq on Ponce I moved into Marq on Ponce in December 2024 and immediately had a serious roach problem — smoky brown roaches coming from the HVAC closet, not the outside. Maintenance installed weatherstripping twice, poorly, and pest control just sprays without actually addressing the source. I eventually had to seal vents myself with mesh and tape. Both buildings have infestations. I even switched buildings — same issue. Roaches inside my lamp, multiple sightings per day. It’s disgusting, and management doesn’t seem to care. I escalated to the regional manager, who said he’d “look into it,” but nothing changed. Other problems: • Power outages, sometimes followed by people squatting in the building. • Guest parking is paid; if unpaid, cars get booted. • If your permit isn’t visible, your own car gets booted too. • Carpets are filthy, the halls smell awful, and it’s masked with cheap air freshener. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Everything else? Not worth the rent.

Additionally, we do our best to regulate parking and ensure everyone parks legally and follows our community parking policies, which includes not blocking handicap loading zones or fire lanes, always displaying a community parking permit, and following our guidelines for paid visitor parking. Regarding your concern about nonresidents on the property, we have not been made aware of this concern previously. If you encounter this concern again, please report this to the leasing office as soon as possible. While frustrating for residents and employees alike, power outages are ultimately out of our immediate control. Great Customer service

When I walked into Marq on Ponce, all the staff were very responsive and very helpful. Additionally, they assisted me with information I did not know about ahead of time which peaked my interest and actually made me more interested in moving into the complex.

good place to live and nice staff

No place is going to be perfect but I have to say that overall, my experience here has been good. There is garage parking and my guest never have to worry about parking. The staff has changed a few times but I've always found them to be pleasant overall. There used to be frequent problems with the elevators not working but they got them fixed promptly and lately I haven't experienced any problems. Maintenance takes care of any problems that I've had in a very reasonable time. I would recommend this property. The rent is reasonable too. Also, it's a fantastic location for the price.

Spacious Midtown Living

I have lived at Marq on Ponce for a couple months now, and I am so impressed with this community! The location, first and foremost is amazing! A block away from the Fox Theater, two blocks from the MARTA, countless restaurants and great night life, Ponce City Market, and so much more! If you are looking for a great, affordable place right in the heart of midtown this is your spot! The gorgeous renovations and sleek style offer a great space for any taste and the floorpans are very spacious. The maintenance staff is diligent, friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. Josh and the team in the leasing office are amazing! From the smallest task, to the craziest of requests, the entire team at the Marq offer optimum service and care with smiles on their faces. I love this community and am so grateful I found this gem!

The Best Two Bedroom Units in Atlanta

This is a great property to live at for those of us who enjoy living in the city! The location is minutes away from downtown Atlanta in the heart of Midtown near all of Atlanta's best restaurants and attractions including the new Ponce City Market and Centennial Park. Residents living at the Alexander on Ponce don't need cars as the MARTA station is within walking distance and the Marta bus stops are conveniently located directly in front of the property. The Ponce City Market Shuttle stops onsite as well to transport residents to and from the market. At the Alexander on Ponce, the common areas are always clean and the staff is very pleasant. The entire staff goes the extra mile to accommodate the needs of every resident. There are a lot of community events held throughout the year where residents have the opportunity to meet and greet their neighbors while enjoying cocktails and fine dining. The two bedroom units are spacious with roommate style floorplans that are perfect for college students and small families. The units have washer and dryer connections with lots of closet space. I love the ceiling fan in my room as it keeps me cool throughout the year! I've stayed at this property for a very long time and don't have plans to leave anytime soon. It's the service and location that keep me here! The Alexander on Ponce community is the best place to live in Atlanta, Georgia!

GREAT LOCATION, GREAT COMMUNITY!

Plenty of wonderful restaurants and entertainment venues within walking distance of this complex on Ponce. The apartments are spacious and the staff is GREAT to work with - Rachel, Jordyn, Chris, Jackie, are only a few of the friendly, responsive people taking care of all of the residents. This was my introduction back into Apartment living and I hope to stay here for many years.

Good, not Great.

Definitely a pretty awesome apartment. Highlights are that there's a gas station right next door, MARTA station is a 3 minute walk, 10 min walk to Georgia Tech, and really awesome restaurants down Juniper (Takorea and Babs are amazing). I'm sharing a 2 bed apartment, and it's pretty spacious, with huge closets. There's a small balcony outside and a pretty decent view of the skyline. Across the street definitely has the better view though. The people are pretty great, very gay friendly. Mail and packages are pretty easy, and there's a gym. Gym definitely could be better though, so if that's a big factor, maybe consider somewhere else. My biggest complaint about this place is that the elevator is always broken, and when it does work, it's super slow. It's also a little hard to let guests into parking - they have a call box in the back entrance but not the front, so friends have to go through the back entrance, which is pretty hard to find.

Cute and Central

My apt was completely gutted and replaced with new items. They are doing this for every apt as the old tenants move out. It's all cute and new so I love it. It's a great location in midtown as well. Some of the items are probably not the best quality but they are very fast and fixing any issues.
