Rated 3 out of 5?by My View About Edison Apartments at 567 Jefferson Ave. Memphis, TN 38105 Hi readers, let me start with the positive of it. The security or safety of the place is an A plus. The monthly rent rate is moderate compared to other places. It is in the heart of Memphis, downtown area. You enjoy this. You will also receive very good smiling face from the attendants. I found this superficial. Deep in the management, they are cheap. let me be specific. The apartment I rented, it's windows do not open. I could not get fresh air. It is some times suffocating and feel stinky. I did not know or speculate what the situation will have down the road on my health. I requested them to fix for me. I was told adamantly, it is too expensive, and it will not be fixed; I was told it costs about 2000 to 3000. My instinctive response was, "Excuse me, this is a premise you will make business with in the coming 50, 100, or more years." After a while, they started painting the wall. I again, said, "How about fixing inside; beauty is not skin deep." I got the same answer: too expensive. I said openly, that is 'a tenant abuse.' The response from the person I talked to was, "I am sorry you felt that way." I know that they know who I am when they read this review. To make, things easy, I just decided to move out at the end of my lease. May 1, 2013
