My husband and I were looking for a safe, affordable place to move to when he received orders to State College, Pennsylvania. We wanted to find a place that was safe for our child and in a fairly quiet neighborhood away from all the hustle and bustle. We were impressed with Copper Beach Townhomes. The office staff was more than helpful when it came to answering our questioned and we are seriously considering making Copper Beach our new home!

I stayed at their three bedroom townhome my last year at PSU. While the townhome was nice, the management staff lacked professionalism. We did not receive our full deposit back despite the fact that we had cleaned out our place. Once the previous stopped by our place to take a look at few furnitures that they were told had to be "replaced" because they damaged them. However, it turned out that the same furniture was still there, never replaced. They took pictures of the furniture before leaving. The following day after I returned from classes, my desk in my room was replaced. They had emptied all of my belongings out without any notice and replaced the apparently broken " desk" so they can claim that they previous tenants broke it. Whenever, I had to visit the rental office, I never had any pleasant experiences. They charged for replacing the batteries in the smoke detector and a big notice was sent to us. When I checked the smoke detectors, they were not working and after speaking with a maintenance person that was there to fix our floors, he agreed that the batteries were never replaced. When I went into the office to talk about this issue, they did not even apologize nor acknowledge their mistake to me. I cannot remember all of the bad experiences, but I definitely do not think it is worth it to pay that much to deal with terrible staff. Hope this review will help someone out!

Great apartment for my next year in state college. I decide to live in two-bedrooms with my friend. The environment is good and quiet. The bus line is also convenient.
