Lived at Hatfield Village almost 5 years in Apt F2-9 and I never had a problem. The website to pay rent and online maintenance requests made my life so much easier than trying to call in a clogged drain between 9-5. Maintenance Staff were always professional and kind and when I had a question or concern people listened and would always call me back with updates and progress reports. The CoinMach washers and dryers were always serviced just made a simple online request to Coinmach and they repaired anything next day. While others complain of rude people and noise I never do remember much of this - I mean Hatfield Village is an extremely large complex with several buildings and apartments and no matter where you live there will be always a few apples. So I strongly suggest you drive the grounds talk to the people that live there get a sense of the community and decide for yourself. Do not listen to a few people with nothing else better to do than to bash a place online.

The location of this place is great! Giant is just a few minutes away, schools are relatively close by. There's quite a few things to do around here all while being in a quiet area.
Currently I'm in a studio because it's just me so I don't need a lot of space. Either way, this is a pretty good size for a studio. I didn't really think I'd be getting this much space, I'm happy about that.
The office staff are usually kind, though I bet they have their bad days where they don't seem as friendly but we all have bad days.
Maintenance service is pretty good. I've only ever called them twice. The first time they showed up in a couple of hours. The second time they showed up the next day. They apologized for the delay and said they'd had a lot of work the previous day.
Noise levels aren't so bad. Occasionally you'll hear a baby in the hallway but once you get into your space, you're good. There's a couple with a small child nearby and sometimes I'll hear the kid running around or banging on something, but it's a 2 year old, can you really be mad at that?
Overall, this is great! I say that as a college student living alone, and I really think I'll be sticking around here as long as I can.

Rated 5 out of 5?by Debbie Awesome place to live!
I moved here on 10/19/2013, What a wonderful place to live. I use to own my own home and got to be to much to maintain after losing my husband. Brenda in the office is wonderful, she catered to my needs and got me into my apartment in less then 2 weeks. My building and neighbors are so quiet. The staff is great and Maintenance is fast to respond if you have any kind of issues. They always came the sameday I called. I would recommend this to friends and family. I am so happy here!

I could not possibly stress how TERRIBLE our entire experience at Hatfield Village Apartments has been. In the process of moving to Pennsylvania we discovered Hatfield Village apartments which lured us in with the amenities and low rent prices. The saying "you get what you pay for" has never been more true. The two bedroom apartments have a decent sized master bedroom and walk in closet. The small bedroom has very little space to live in once a bed is in the room. I'm quite certain that prison cells are bigger. The first problem worth noting would have to be the shared hallways and the constant odor from neighbors that seem to either let garbage sit or live in a very unclean environment. The next issue is bugs. This is an issue that was never resolved after many visits from maintenance. This includes insects such as roaches and centipedes that never seem to go away after pest control sprays. I and my other roommates have often had sleepless nights due to seeing them crawl around on the walls and ceilings. Whatever they are spraying could not possibly be less effective. Upon moving out of the apartment we were hit with a $615 bill (plus the $250 deposit which they kept) for damages that included a door and (what i'm guessing to be) the entire carpet. After many calls to management and even a written letter we have received no response for a year. We got the generic "we will call you back once we pull the file" every time we called. When we looked into a new property elsewhere the issue finally came back up and management was STILL unable to explain to us why the entire carpet in the apartment needed to be replaced. This is a great place to stay if you are on the verge of being homeless and no other options for you.
