Its housing prices are a bit higher than average, but you pay for the safety that comes with living in this area of town. It also has a ton of restaurants with all types of cuisine to please any palette, and coffee shops and bars galore so you'll always have a place to meet up with your friends.
    • Soulard: Soulard also has a low crime rate compared to the rest of the city. Its crime rate is 52 percent lower than the rest of St. Louis.
