Rated 4 out of 5?by Great Location! We just moved into The Point a few week ago. We put in application in February, moved in April. We worked mainly with Charity in the leasing office, but also talked with Beatrice. Everyone we spoke with was always friendly, helpful, and willing to answer our millions of questions. Our move in was pretty easy except that our building passes didn't activate right away so we needed to prop a door open and our moving van was too tall so we had to push everything a little further. The apartment itself is great. We got a renovated model and the kitchen is spacious with a fridge that I don't think we'll ever fill. All appliances are in working order. We did call maintenance to fix a door that was sticking and they fixed it within 24 hrs and offered to check on anything else while they were there. We haven't had any noisy neighbors or disturbances. The concierge is always friendly and has answers for most things. The location is perfect for restaurants and the metro. Can only think of good things to say about this place! April 23, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5?by Looks can be deceiving The Georgian (now The Pointe) is a nice looking community with decent amenities (when they work) but has continued to decline in quality and service. And changing the name doesn't mask the problems in the community. In particular, the staff (esp maintenance) are often unhelpful. It's very hit or miss and completely depends on who you talk to. Some are extremely helpful while others are downright rude or literally ignore resident needs. There's also tons of turnover with both staff and residents...not a good thing! It looks nice on the surface but there are much nicer places with better service in the same area. You've been warned. January 25, 2013
