So there is no shortage of things to do in the greater area on any night or weekend.
Again, for those moving into the area, Cupertino has a lot to offer, but it won't come at a low price compared to other areas around the South Bay. Many who work in Cupertino live further south where prices are cheaper for both owning and renting. However, that does mean a further commute and driving. It's not abnormal; there are folks who drive up to two hours each way daily to maximize their income versus cost of living.
