These apartments are infested with bugs !!! Mind you they make you pay 5 dollars in rent for pest control who dosent come when you ask them to ! Can’t even cook without a bug coming out .This apartment complex has been having this problem for years and still nothings changed . But they are quick to tow your car but can’t get these bugs out my house be foreal !!!! Next stop is the NEWS everybody needs to know this !

Apartment Rooms are very spacious for the right price. The service at the front is very helpful, great and respectful people.

Loretta was very helpful with the move in process and the apartment was better then I expected very spacious.

very unprofessional, they have given me 4 different dates to move in and once arrive on the final set time i came to my apartment still being cleaned when it’s was supposed to be done a month ahead of time. Now my lease is done and I do not have a place to live for 2 weeks because of the false information provided on their end

Management doesn’t know how to answer the phone. Rent is raised with no renovations, every year. People breaking into cars, stealing packages. Gates open all the time.

This is the absolute WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in in my life! If I could give this place negative stars I would!! Shootings/murders every other month, bathrooms that don’t want to work, the gates are never closed, nobody in the office ever answers the phone, and then maintenance erasing work orders and pretending like we didn’t submit 3! The worst part is we called and spoke to someone and still haven’t gotten our issue resolved. Tried calling 3 times this morning and of course nobody answered. So we went to the leasing office to find them having a good ole time eating and enjoying each other’s company. I hate it here! If we could leave today we would.

Issues are not fixed in a timely manner! I have been waiting on my oven to be fixed but months. Everything i call I’m told a request will be put in but they never do. Whole apartment is falling apart

ROACHES EVERYWHERE DO NOT MOVE HERE I noticed roaches in the place 1st month being there and had to have pest control come bi weekly to spray, I couldn’t enjoy my balcony due to the bugs, roaches would even be in the parking lot. I even had to create a routine to spray down the place Inside and outside to try to keep them away.

This is going to be my second year here. Their Maintenance team respond and get the work done quickly (usually the next day after I submit the work request through their system) Ms. Loretta and Ms. Natasha were so sweet and friendly! My cat and I really like living here!

Raising rent and not fixing anything. mold in bathrooms and tub is chipping away!!! They will raise rent in a heartbeat but wont do anything to make the apartments nice.

Not happy about lack of Corporate reach out after I've attempted to get in contact with them for two months. Roads have gone unpaved for a year. They do some minor patchwork, bit your car will definitely feel the pain. Can't be a gated community if there isn't a gate. Prices now are pretty ridiculous, considering no improvement had really happened. Lots of dry rot in kitchen areas, counters seem to be spray painted back to white. Question is: Why would you increase rent, if your complex is deteriorating?

This is my second year here. I love it! Ms Loretta is such a sweet soul and such a big help! Maintenance responds quickly to any needs and gets the job done. My area is quiet and it’s clean. We love it here and don’t regret choosing this complex to live in!

I absolutely love my apartment!!! Ms. Loretta was very kind and excited when she was giving the details of the layout, her positivity was infectious! I was so excited about my apartment with the large amount of space that i have (and i have a smaller unit ) it is more than enough for my daughter and myself. My building is quiet and my neighbors are kind. I am more than satisfied with Stonesthrow Apartments and I highly recommend this complex.

I love staying at stonesthrow apartments. You couldn't ask for a better location to live. One of the things I enjoy the most is the fitness room, it saves me from having to spend money in a gym. The office staff does a great job in assisting the residents, especially Fiorella,Angie,and Loretta. Thanks for being a all around great team

I’m living in this Stonethrow apt almost 2 years, my husband has military order, but they told me have to pay 60 days notice even I still live here or not 1 month pay because break contract. I told them I came 2 time to talk about that since November 2017, but they don’t care what i said, they just want to take money from customers and cheating customers. Manager is terrible lady. She doesn’t respect customers. I’m so stupid to live here. A lot of their mistakes i can forget, but this one is the last one and i can not still quite.

Just recently this past weekend I went out of town and my back door and attic door was opened when I returned. And no I did not leave it opened because I knew I was leaving for the weekend because I was graduating.I called the police and they saw it was no force entry but someone was clearly in the apartment so they told me to contact my leasing office as soon as they opened. I called the leasing office on Monday to see who was in my apartment no one could tell me anything. I was told three different times I would receive a call back from a manager, never received the call. I feel unsafe so I asked could they change my locks, their response was yes but we will have to charge you a fee of $25. I explained to her that I would pay nothing because someone was in my apartment without my permission! She then goes to say the wind may have blew the door open.My safety is at risk and you couldn't even change my locks nor give me a call back. Thanks management team !

Had an awful time trying to schedule a time to come by. Not to mention, I was finally able to speak with Amy, she was rude front the start, and seemed to try and rush me off the phone. Worse I called back to speak with the manager and they said the manager was named Amy. They said she was the only Amy there and worse, I can't imagine how awful it is with her as the manager.

My mom and I lived here from 2006 to 2012, and I was the one who had to light a fire under the maintenance team to get things done. The windows leaked, the bathroom had to be torn apart and put back together because of water from the shower pouring into the wall, and I compiled a list of over 30 things wrong within a week after I moved in with my mom, who was already living there. Shortly after I joined the navy, my mom came home to find the sliding glass door slightly open and the blinds pushed back. Maintenance had no record of anyone entering the apartment that day, but the door had clearly been jimmied open from the outside. It took THREE YEARS to get a maintenance man to replace the lock, during which time I instructed my mom to use the charley bar instead. For the rest of the time there, I was already living in Virginia, but listed as an occupant at Stonesthrow. After a heavy storm that damaged the roof and created a huge water mark on the master bedroom ceiling, instead of repairing and sealing the roof and ceiling, it was simply repainted white. I also got into arguments with several people in the office and on the maintenance team for their bad attitudes, to no avail. And finally, the "gated community" that's advertised is a joke. The entrance gate on the newer side of the complex hadn't worked for over two years when my mom left, and to my knowledge, it has never been fixed. Nonresidents will nearly run people over to get in through the exit gates, to the point that I nearly got into a head on collision several times. As we were moving out, I actually overheard the manager telling a prospective tenant that the card reader by the gate had been struck by lightning, when it was very obvious that someone had taken a baseball bat to it and busted it. But hey, if you enjoy getting lied to and treated like just a number while your home crumbles around you, be my guest.

Worst place ever bugs and black mold lives here not even a year and want out. You can hear your neighbours walking and talking. Just run

I am living a 1 bed room apt with my roommate due to economy and our low income, but this place.... neighbor move in and already complain about noise and lying about 3rd shift when they haven't move in yet nor the 3rd shift was real, people are smoking marijuana everyday where I live outside, even blowing sitting on your car, blasting music, screaming everyday, fighting with knife at times , but most of all, with all that going on all Hawthorne sees is your wallet, they don't look at you as human, more like NUMBERS... worst place I ever been too, crime and ragidness if off the chart.

nice place to live, in the area lots of actives to do, they have yoga and pilates class, lots of family fun nights

The apartment is a little dated, but it has a nice layout. The heating bill is a little to expensive in the winter. Nice area.
