Property Ratings at Woodstone
Woodstone is a really beautiful complex filled with trees and surrounded by greenery. The upkeep is amazing and I never see any litter out while walking. It’s quiet even though there’s a school next to it. Maintenance response is quick and the landlord, Isabel, is always friendly. They have monthly gatherings for food and fun which is great and the laundry room is always kept cleanly with all the machines working. Not to mention, the area the apartment is located in is just perfect. It’s inside of a quiet neighborhood but it’s close enough to HEB and Downtown Austin where getting anywhere I need to never feels like a chore. It’s also right next to a gas station which is great for getting gas before work and snacks. The pool area is beautiful and will be great to use in the summer—I haven’t seen any trash around there either, and the hammocks they have are lovely to lay in. It’s honestly the perfect apartment complex for me and I hope to live here for years—which I haven’t gotten to experience at an apartment yet.
Cristal is super nice and helpful, and everyone is very friendly! Lots of trees, squirrels, and deer. I like living here so far.

Apartment manager Cristal has been more than accommodating and helpful from the start. Maintenance man Wilmer is an exceptional human being who will apparently even have your back, if needed, at 11 pm on a Saturday night. They both strike me as good, honest people. I have nothing bad to say about this complex. My neighbors have been very welcoming - more so than any other place I’ve lived actually. It is a quiet, small place. There are lots of dogs, which my pup appreciates. All I’ve met have been good dogs. There are dog bag stations located around the complex. There are several courtyards to enjoy. The high school across the street has been more of a nice amenity than the traffic issue I worried it might be before moving in. Traffic is never too bad through there. Their marching band is excellent. This is a wonderful neighborhood to walk around in and everyone is friendly. The interiors of some units are a little dated. I find it charming. I understand that the units are being renovated when people move out to replace the carpet with nice wood vinyl and to upgrade cabinets and counters. I love the fireplaces. I haven’t had any problems with bugs here either. I did at my place down by Barton Creek in South Austin. Oh! Did I mention all the deer running around the neighborhood?! I’m sure I could think of more but that seems like plenty. Oh right - the price is right!

The complex is small at only 8 2-story buildings. It is quiet and laid back and located in a beautiful neighborhood with big, old trees. The units are old but you can't tell. The only negative thing I could say is the walls are pretty thin, but that often comes with apartment living. What has impressed me the most is the flexibility and demeanor of the staff, namely Cristal. I found myself searching for housing at a precarious time and Cristal was nothing but understanding and accommodating to work with me and get me into an apartment. I signed a 12 month lease and I won't be surprised if I renew at the end of it.

I am relocating from the west coast in April 2016 and Michelle was the key to everything. She is friendly, professional, efficent, and orderly. She made my apartment search seemed and stressless.
I just signed my 3 year lease and am happy living here. Because of the age of the apartments I understand some of the problems. But, there isn't a grill at the pool and a manager does not live on site as stated in the information about the apartment complex.
I chose Woodstone Apartments for its location and price, and I have to say that I've enjoyed living here. I've just signed a lease for my 4th year. Woodstone is not fancy or updated, but it is comfortable and I couldn't ask for a better location. I love that I can walk to the grocery store and feel comfortable running around the neighborhood even after dark. The new office manager is very friendly and all of my maintenance requests have been attended to in a very timely manner. There are definitely a few, um, special characters living here; most of whom I imagine have been here forever, but they have always been friendly to me. Sure, you could find a better looking apartment, but you're going to pay for it in Austin. Woodstone has treated me very well so far!
