With its charming and historic downtown, brick-paved sidewalks, and rolling green hills Jackson is a hidden gem. It is located off I-40, roughly halfway between Memphis and Nashville. It is the county seat of Madison County, and it is home to several colleges and universities, including Jackson State Community College, the University of Memphis at Lambuth, and Union University. It's also the location of the Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame and the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum.
When Jackson residents want to shop, they have plenty of options: Shoppes at the Columns is an outdoor shopping area filled with well-known stores and restaurants. Old Hickory Mall, an indoor shopping mall, is located off Old Hickory Boulevard and is surrounded by smaller strip malls. At Fairgrounds Park, residents can peruse the items at Friendly Frank's Flea Market. For fresh produce, they head to the West Tennessee Farmer's Market.

Ask for Marissa if you get the chance. She's incredible. Answered every question I had, seemed to be honest and extremely hospitable, which is hard to find these days. It seems like a quiet neighborhood. If you can get a unit with the view of the lake, spend the extra few dollars and go for it. Thumbs up for Woods of Post House.

Great place! Very pet friendly, the apartment managers, maintenance, and staff here are so nice. Anything you needs fixed, they get it done in a timely manner. Plus the covered parking spots keep your cars safe. Would definitely recommend!

They will charge you for things that you don't owe. They don't provide maintenance worth anything. The management is terrible.

Horrible! We have been living here almost a year and individuals been breaking in and spray painting vehicles. Let’s not talk about the guy who walks around with a hoodie, ski mask, and a gun to break into vehicles. No one from the front office has reach out to the tenants regarding the issues nor to make security arrangements! I have placed multiple maintenance request for my sink to get replace because of water leaks and flooding … took them four day!!! Don’t bother calling the office because they will not answer. I drove up there and they were sitting down talking about something on their cell phone!!! Just spend the extra cash somewhere else because clearly they do not care here!!! I wish I could rate ZERO stars.

Besides the 3 bedroom apartments having carpet in the bedrooms, and minor appliance issues, everything is great at woods of post house! Very quite neighborhood. I enjoy this apartment complex a lot.

I really love living here it’s going on a year for me and I haven’t had any problems it’s very quiet the neighbors are very nice and the office staff are very nice and helpful!!!!

If I could give no stars i would. We leased a 3bed 3bath back in may. They called me a WEEK before I was suppose to move out there (moving from across the country) and told me it was no longer available AFTER I had called the previous week to get our address. They offered us something smaller, but we chose that floor plan for a reason. Now they won’t give us our $250 application fee back (which i get is non refundable, but THEY are the ones that broke our lease) and are ignoring our calls. What is the point of signing a lease if it doesn’t guarantee you an apartment?! They are not professional and a bunch of crooks. I will/would never rent here and wouldn’t recommend anyone rent here.

Online leasing is a wonderful tool; however, there are occasions where a home on notice to vacate may pre-lease online, and the current resident may retract their notice to move. We are very sorry that we did not have another home of this particular floor plan available for you during your time frame. Should the occasion arise where you may seek housing in Jackson again, we would hope that you would consider us again. The experience you are detailing is not typical of a Pegasus Residential management team, and we would be eager to assist you again!
The Woods is a place to stay if you want luxury, peace and quiet, a proud plàce to call home. The Woods give you a since of elegant living: walks in the evening, a swim by the pool, a good work out in the exercise room, a quiet evening on your private patio. Fine! Fine! Fine!

This is an apartment that doesn't feel like an apartment. The loft area and high ceilings make the space feel light and open. The apartment has a ton of storage in the second floor utility room and under the stairs. Woods is a great place to live. I don't plan on moving as long as I live in Jackson.
