Woodland Village Apartments

People move in and out daily with no actual long time residents. I stayed here and had problems within the first month here. The problems continued with no fixes until I was coming up on renewing my lease (which I would not do). They never sent out an exterminator for the roaches that been here. The apartments are old and I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to my worst enemy. Management changed twice in a year. Maintenance is unreliable. I will never come back.

Sixteen plus years in SC and until 6-yrs ago I road pass this property each work day; always wondering when I could apply… I liked what I could see of the outside. Thankfully, my turn came in May 2015… and I got to see the inside, the wait was over! I love the townhouse I’m in, the space and unit set-up and few maintenance issues, taken care of quickly, over the years! I’ve no immediate plans to leave, as yet, but my time here in Woodland Village Apt. Homes will be the template of any new dwelling in my future.

I appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness of the property manager! The space here is phenomenal for the price. And this is the best place to reside for location and access.

I resigned my lease and in February, And the only reason I haven't done review since then it's because I've been busy. How ever the staff is excellent. The maintenance status wonderful particularly considering there's a pandemic going on there always on top of the maintenance. In January the bank messed up on Sunday my check to the apartment I went over and spoke to them about it they were very good about it and everything was sorted out. I was just telling my sister the other day, That unless I move into a house or leave Colombia because of a job, I have no intention of leaving Woodland village apartment homes. If I decide I need a bigger apartment it will be at this complex. If you use public transit, There is a bus stop right out front. Security is great, and it is in Lexington/Richland school district five. So, it is a terrific place if you have children.

I really like the location of this apartment complex. You are located amongst everything and a lot of stores nearby as well.

This apartment is in a great location. You get a lot of space for the price. The property manager is very helpful and nice as well.

I dont know where to begin. Our stay here has been the WORSE out of any complex we've stayed in the Columbia area. Ceiling has been leaking for 5 months straight. No one has ever fixed the issue and now mold is growing. Our neighbor moved out 4 months ago and left trash all over the patio and front and the trash is still sitting in the same spot they left it. No one has came out to clean all the mess up 4 months later smh. The complex itself is beginning to look run down. The pool is currently green (it's the beginning of summer) grass barely gets cut, vines are growing up on many buildings and the roads are terrible with potholes just about everywhere. I have nothing good to say about this place. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this place When our lease is up, we definitely will NOT be renewing if we even stay here that long.

I visited yesterday looking for a one bedroom apartment. Tabitha show me 2 apartments one dark and one light. She was a peach. I am disable and they made me feel at home. I am looking forward to movi ng in the apartment.

I have been here at Woodland village for several years now. This is by far the nices place and best bang for your buck place to live on n the St. Andrews area. The office staff is The best that I have every dealt with.

Disgusting place! Landlord ignores repair requests. Place is infested with cockroaches. I've had a plywood board covering my backdoor for almost three weeks because the glass was shattered by vandals. I have electrical issues, the counters and sinks are peeking, my electrical bill ranges from $200 to $300 each month because of poor insulation. Also, they've refused to change filters during the three years I've lived here. This place is falling apart and all they want is your monthly rent, which is extremely high for the shack, unsanitary apartment you get in exchange. Do not rent here...you'll regret it if you do.

I have lived at Woodland Village for 6 years and I have never endured such issues down below. The office staff is always professional and helpful. I live in a one bedroom and I have a huge space, they keep the area clean and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. For the amount of money I pay, I get a lot of bang for my buck! I have never had an issue with bugs either, but I am a clean person too. I know others have not been here as long as I have, but they do pest control quarterly and you can also request to have your apartment sprayed. For a complex that is several years old, I am glad this is the place that I call home and I will continue to call this place home until I have to transfer with my job or something else.

My apartment is in the perfect location. Its literally 5 minutes from everything that is important to me. My job, the gym, the mall, etc.... i love how spacious it is and the closet space is awesome. My lease is almost up and more than likely i will renew my lease. Woodland Village has made it a pleasure living here.

The place is really spacious and nice, it feels like an actual house. The people here are really friendly and it is super quiet at all times. The office is open most days and is convenient to go to. The pools and facilities are kept up nicely. However, this place is an older apartment community and I have needed maintenance. This place would be perfect if maintenance was reliable and would come fix things at a decent time. I have been waiting for them to fix my sliding door for a month and a half now and cannot seem to get a hold of anyone.

This apartment is large for the price, and the neighborhood is clean and nice, however maintenance is a big problem. I have been struggling for over a month to get maintenance to fix problems that have been existing since I moved in. When they do come, they state they need to order a part and then never come back. My last three maintenance requests have been ignored, and complaining to the office has not helped. Would not recommend moving here as maintenance is a big problem considering the age of the apartments.
