Property Ratings at Windsor Upon Stonecrest
It is common courtesy for landlords to give a 24 hour notice before entering an apartment, but Windsor Upon Stonecrest lately has been slacking with these notices and they seem to just expect the residents to deal with them coming and going whenever it is convenient for management. On top of the that, the maintenance crew is a joke. I’ve had staff mistakenly enter my apartment for repairs when it was a different unit needing repairs; I’ve had maintenance staff cause damage to my door and locks because their key didn’t work (to the lock they installed when I moved in..?). I don’t feel safe living here anymore, and it is definitely not worth the rates they are charging. I would recommend looking elsewhere to rent.
I’ve been here almost 2 years and the best things I can say is this is HOME! The staff are absolutely amazing. The property is well maintained and quiet. When you come here, you actually come home!
The apartments and community spaces are very nice and well-maintained. Any maintenance requests I've had have been taken care of within 24 hours. The management are incredibly kind and communicate quickly. There are also tons of community events that are super fun like food trucks, pizza parties, pie tastings, and more! It is the best apartment complex and group of people I have experienced and I plan to stay here as long as I am in the area.
The staff are all very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had during the move in process. They also regularly organize events for the tenants, like food trucks and fun giveaways that allow you to meet people in the community. I’ve lived here for about a year and I’ve enjoyed every day!
I’ve been living here for five years and it’s been a great experience for me very quiet and I love it here at Windsor. The property manager and their team are awesome always showing kindness and looking out for not only myself but others here as well . If I have a problem in my apartment maintenance is always on task they are very committed and they are very kind people here. I really enjoy living in these apartments I call it my tiny cottage.
I enjoy the semi-secluded nature of this apartment community! Maintenance requests are answered in a timely manner, management is responsive, and the grounds are well-maintained. There's also an effort to create resident events :) I'd recommend this place to a friend!
My family and I have lived here for approximately 5 months, the apartments are as you see them online, everything you see is true. They are very clean inside and outside, they maintain the property. I have not seen any creepy crawling bugs. Nice appliances. The neighbors are friendly. The staff is very knowledgeable about the move in process. They are polite and helpful.
I have been living here just a few weeks and I absolutely love it! The ladies in the office are very good with communicating back and forth with any issues, maintenance is never a problem, and other residents are quiet and courteous! It’s so relaxing to come home to such a serene place to live!! You won’t regret it! ????
I've lived here for over a year and I have to say that it is a nice location, but still feels like you're out of the city. The front office staff is always quick to respond.
Location, Location, Location! It's nice being tucked away but less than 5 minutes from anything we could ever need. In the summer and fall, you would never know you lived next to a strip mall. It's beautiful and cozy. Maintenance and leasing office team are all so nice and accommodating. Always putting on events for residents. Our favorite is monthly bingo! There is plenty of area to walk your dog without ever having to go near a main road, but also enough variety to keep them interested every day. It's a wonderful place to live
Windsor Upon Stonecrest is one of the quietest, friendliest, and most maintained complex’s I’ve lived at. The leasing staff are so friendly and are always hosting fun events for the residents. Windsor would definitely my top recommendation for anyone looking to move
The management here is on top of things, always quick to respond, and very informative with any and all questions. Maintenance is always on time, super polite, and extremely professional. The location is terrific having every restaurant you could ever need and shopping centers all a rock's throw away. The residents are very nice people who look out for each other and are just overall good company. My only complaint with Windsor is the parking can get pretty nasty. I often get off work around 7 pm-8 pm and have to park in visitor parking which can be very frustrating after a long day. Overall I still plan to stay here for a long time to come.
I have lived in this complex for over three years and felt obligated to leave a review after seeing a grand total of 0 on apartments.com. The pros: - Management is an absolute pleasure to work with. They respond very quickly to any requests. - Maintenance was likewise a pleasure to work with. I didn't need to request many work/repair orders during my time here, but every time that I needed to they were quick (<24 hours for minor issues, within a few hours for important issues) and very efficient. - Nice looking complex, little to no trash (though some issues with people not picking up after their pets, which management was quick to put a stop to). - Never had any issues with other residents other than occasional minor noise complaints. I even once left my lights on and a neighbor who recognized my car quickly came to my door and alerted me. - On the topic of noise, I don't know what these walls are made out of but they're unbelievably noise cancelling. Well constructed through and through. I'll often hear hallway conversations from my couch, but the MOMENT they close their door it's complete silence. It's quite amazing, honestly. Cons: - I've had zero issues with the complex or the management here. The only reason that I'm moving is because of the surrounding area. There's...not a ton to do in Burlington, North Carolina. I knew that when moving here, but after a year or two it really started wearing on me. This move is purely to transition to a bigger city where I'm more comfortable. If the small town atmosphere doesn't bother you, I can't recommend this complex enough.
