Property Ratings at Windsor Oaks
You couldn't pay me enough to move back to this place. While you're living there, it's great. Until the office finds an opportunity to charge you money. Then they'll take every penny they can find any excuse to take from you. I got charged hundreds of dollars after I moved out because a "professional" said the apartment smelled strongly of pet urine and there were urine spots all over the apartment. Over 10 people who were in and out of my apartment said that it never smelled like urine or had any odor whatsoever. They were also in the process of cleaning and painting the apartment when this inspection supposedly took place, so how could he have smelled a "strong" urine odor anyway? And the stains that showed up under a blacklight? Some of them were in places my cat was never allowed or that were where furniture was. I requested all of the photos, and you can clearly see the bathroom door handle did not match the door knob that was there just 3 days prior when I had moved out. Why would they have replaced the door knob? And if they were replacing door knobs, why do it while you're painting? Seems odd to me. In one photo, you can clearly see the washer had been moved across the floor like they were replacing it. Laundry detergent glows under blacklight. Detergent easily could have gotten from the washer to the carpet when they moved it causing a glow. But does Windsor Oaks want to accept that? No because they can't charge for it then! If they were painting and paint dripped onto the carpet, that would also glow. I even bought my own blacklight and went over my new apartment with it. Guess what? Absolutely nothing on the carpet and I still have the same cat. Do yourself a favor, save yourself hundreds of dollars and go live somewhere else.
Awesome apartment complex!!! The amenities are so beneficial to always have so close! The staff is very welcoming and always gives the best service. We LOVE living at Windsor oaks!!!

My family and I have lived here for 3 years now and we love it. You can't find this amount of space and quality anywhere else in the Fort. The girls in the office are always helpful and kind. The few times we have had to call for a service guy, they were there within a couple of days and did a great job.
We are moving from out of state with hectic and busy schedules and wanted to start the move in process early in the morning but manager denied us and forced us to wait till 10 a.m when their office opens. Its all about them! Customer means nothing at Windsor Oaks! We were not informed of incenitives, we had to ask about it as we were signing the contract, also big surprise came about mail box fee of $40 at the last moment while we are signing to move in. Sofia who showed us the apartment and all the others at the office made us wonder for reason for them being there not willing to help or inform the important issues other than being a blockage!! Nasty practice!!

The staff were very helpful and professional helping me find an apartment. The grounds and apartments are beautiful and spacious. The appliances need to be replaced since they are ten years or older, especially the refrigerator. After a couple of weeks living here, the staff began unprofessional and rude when asking for maintenance request. I'm stuck in a one year lease and wish I can move. I would not recommend living here at Windsor Oaks.
Windsor Oaks has been a lovely place to live so far! I have lived here for one year and have enjoyed every minute of it. The apartments are so spacious and updated. It is very quiet here, which is great because I am a full time graduate student. Tons of natural lighting as well! No gas required in most apartment homes, everything is electric, which can get pricey in the winter, but if you take precautions such as wrapping your windows and utilizing your fireplace you can control the costs! It is also extremely close to the interstate and shopping/gas stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything, and maintenance is always completed very quickly. Overall I have had a fantastic experience at Windsor Oaks!
