Reed is Portland’s smallest neighborhood. This namesake neighborhood is named after Reed College, a private liberal arts school which borders the community to the south. Along with student housing, Reed features apartments and houses in a variety of styles. Rentals are moderately priced, and the area is known for its quaint architectural styles including Portland Four Squares and Cape Cod bungalows. The western part of Reed is dominated by locally owned businesses like Gigantic Brewing Company and Green Drop Garage, an eco-friendly auto garage.
Residents also enjoy proximity to some of the trendiest spots in the city. Nearby Woodstock Avenue is filled with diverse eateries, grocers, coffeehouses, and more. Quirky commercial hubs like the Hawthorne District and Downtown Portland are under four miles away from Reed. Reed provides a home to those who like convenient access to active urban life but want to come home to a laid-back locale.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Wimbledon Square And Gardens
I love the neighborhood in that I can ride my ebike safely on the streets because they have bike lanes. Its also close to downtown and SE Portland. The floor designs is what attracted me the most.

Thanks for your review! We’re glad you’re enjoying the location, neighborhood, and your home’s layout. Appreciate you being part of the community!
I can't believe it! This is a relaxing place. It's no wonder the few times I've been here I hardly see anyone. They're all cozy in their apartments. This is like 10* accommodations compared to my current place. I'm hopeful to move in soon. I wonder if any actually plays pool here. That's where I'll be. This is where I will train to become the new world champion! I love it!

Absolutely THE scummiest property management company I've ever rented from. Everything inside is made from THE cheapest, least durable material. Paper thin walls, you'll hear every single nose your neighbors make. There's lead, asbestos and black mold prevalent. There's no security and constant thefts. They are in bed with Sergeants Towing and will not blink when it comes to your car being towed. Yet somehow the constantly revolving door of employees is somehow worse than all of that. They illegally cancelled my lease, over charged me by hundreds of dollars, and took months of calling management to finally get it sorted out. They will not answer your questions if you ask them, they are pre-programmed corporate stooges that just give you the same answers on repeat. They recently just got rid of their rent drop box and the ability to simply drop your rent check off at the leading office. They want everyone to switch to their electric payment system, that costs 50$ extra a month to use. INSANE! That's like paying a late fee every month for not being late. Absolutely do you honest homework for yourself, but trust me when I say you'll be happier if you just skip this place entirely.

If you're looking for somewhere to live, Wimbledon is not even worth considering. I chose Wimbledon because I THOUGHT it was my cheapest option. However when you factor in the property damage, theft, and wasted time, Wimbledon has cost me MUCH MORE than nearby options would have. Save yourself the money and the headache - choose somewhere else. This doesn't even mention the black mold, rude and innatentive staff, filthy pools, trash and litter, constant water and internet outages, horrible appliances, and nonfunctional laundry facilities. Don't take it from me, they have already been sued for twenty million dollars over negligance. Their track record is awful. Still considering living here? Well here's a tip for you: if you ever need to get in contact with the leasing office for any reason, call repeatedly, over and over and over again, until somone finally answers. They will never respond to messages that you leave them or to emails, so don't even bother with that.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We strive to provide a quality living experience for all residents and take your concerns seriously. Regarding water and internet outages, these were tied to necessary property upgrades, and we communicated timelines whenever possible. Our laundry facilities are serviced regularly, but repairs require specialized vendors, which can cause delays. Additionally, our pools are cleaned weekly, and our team inspects the grounds daily. We understand the importance of addressing concerns promptly and encourage you to reach out to us directly at (503) 233-4461 to discuss any unresolved issues.
I have not had working electricity for 65 days and counting. Building management is well aware and still has not fixed the issue.
