Quickly answered my post on line and replaced my lights over my stove. It is very dark over the store without the lights so I appreciated the quick turn around.

I recently had a dryer fire. Thankfully t was small RPM has lied to me telling me vendors were here for “ preventive maintenance “ and there was so much lint buildup in wall pipes . No one ever came for “ Preventive maintenance “ in the 5 years I’ve lived in this apartment .

I've lived at the Willows for around 6-7 months now. The office staff are always friendly and willing to help, however, whenever something needs fixing in my apartment I already know it is going to take anywhere from a few weeks to months to get it fixed. My rent is ridiculous, and yet I haven't had a bedroom light since November (it is now the end of January). If you need something fixed, you have to continuously call the office (if you don't, simply putting in a service request is not enough and it will not get acknowledged). I have also noticed that the water has a certain smell to it (sort of like onions). Overall, though, I do feel safe in the community and they are continuously trying to improve the complex.

The office people are nice, but it takes one or two times to get something done or an answer. Maintenance is not knowledgeable or empathic to the issues people living here are facing even though its their job to fix it - blames or insinuates the person is dumb.

The Willows apartments located in the heart of almost everything. If you are looking for food or entertainment you don't have to look to far. They also provide VIP trash collection which helps. It saves you the hassle of taking your trash to the nearest dumpster.

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. Loud unruly neighbors. Loud music. Parking is horrible and people let their pets poop every where and do not pick it up. They even poop in the breeze way and side walks where people walk to their apartments.

I found the office staff to be helpful and courteous, however not having lived in an apartment for many, many years I did not know what questions to ask. The apartments are located near I77 and conveniently located near grocery stores and drug stores.

Ive lived at the Willows for 2 years and just started another lease for my 3rd year. I really like this community, its safe, the people who live here are friendly, I love my apartment and the amenities. The Willows has a lot to offer. It is near several key locations such as Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and QT. From food to fuel it's an easy few minutes. It also has a lot to offer like the pool/grilling area to the playground. Very spacious and lots of parking available.

Ive voiced my concerns multiple times with no changes in sight. During this terrible time period, the community has not really been very accommodating as far as the needs of the residents. Honestly, had the state not implemented an executive order that delayed any evictions, Im sure a hefty portion of the neighborhood would have been homeless. There were service fees applied that could have been waived just out of pandemic courtesy that werent waived. There was an offer of $100 off ONE MONTH for FOUR residents in the ENTIRE community that COULD pay their rent on time . However, no further update was given as to whether or not that had actually happened. Not a reduced or free month offered to those who have been in contract within the year or two years; however, there seems to be a special when the community wants new residents. The drop box was removed, almost forcing residents to use the portal where the fee is assessed unless using a bank account (which is not always convenient when banks delay withdrawal of payment). Open gates during the day when its supposed to be a gated private community. (Used to remain closed with the previous owners). Absolutely no parking during certain times near the building I reside and walking across the neighborhood at night is NOT IDEAL OR SAFE for those of us who work past normal day time hours. Ive emailed the office and not gotten a response for days to one week and had to send ANOTHER message to see if my concerns were received. The pandemic forced a few of people to renew the lease because they were not comfortable starting in a new building or community at the time. I dont expect anything to change at this time either because I understand its the same people reading this that Ive already voiced these concerns with and the only answer seems to be, thats just the way the property managers wants it to be. Or we cant help the parking situation and try your best to get a spot earlier.
