Living at home while attending college has offered a unique and valuable experience. Being at home allows me to maintain a strong support system with my family, which has helped me manage the challenges of college life. I benefit from a stable and familiar environment, where I can focus on my studies without the distractions or responsibilities that come with living away. At the same time, living at home has taught me independence in different ways, such as managing my schedule, balancing schoolwork with family responsibilities, and staying self-motivated. Even though I live at home, I still participate actively in campus life. I attend classes, join student organizations, and engage with peers, which allows me to build friendships and feel connected to the college community. I have also learned to navigate the balance between family life and my own personal growth. Communicating effectively, respecting shared spaces, and managing my time carefully have all become important skills. .
The place is great and perfect for students, but sometimes the neighbors play loud music and messes with my quiet studying times, and the apartment has many things to fix, but maintenance team always gets it done.
I’ve had a great time at the Wexler! Here’s a clean, short version with no emojis and no hyphens: --- Living at The Wexler has been great. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to Sac State and close to Grocery Outlet, Target, and several local eateries. The building is right behind the 65th and University Light Rail Station, which is free for students. The apartment has a private bedroom and bathroom, an in-unit washer and dryer, a full kitchen, and respectful roommates. Amenities include a pool, study rooms, a club room, and a coffee machine, along with regular community events. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable place to live.

I have been living in this apartment for almost a year, and overall my experience has been very positive. The location is one of the biggest advantages—it’s close to public transportation, grocery stores, and several nice restaurants. The neighborhood feels safe and peaceful, which makes it a comfortable place to come home to after a long day. The apartment itself is modern and well-maintained. The kitchen appliances work efficiently, and the maintenance team usually responds quickly to any repair requests. The management office staff are polite and helpful, and they always keep the building clean and organized. Another great aspect is the community atmosphere. My neighbors are friendly and respectful, and there are often small community events that make it easy to meet new people. The rent is reasonable compared to other apartments in the area, and utilities are fairly priced.

It’s honestly a lot better than I thought, the pool is kind of cold but it’s still nice and I got a couple buddies who live over here anyway so i got people to go with. The rooms are nice and I’m glad I have my own bathroom, the ac is coming in clutch.

Everyone has been pretty cool and helpful since I moved in a few months ago. I love the actual apartment, very nice and fun looking. They price of living here is a a little expensive although not insane seeing how nice, close to campus, big is it.

Very nice place, few things I would change but other than that would recommend. For example the parking is CRAZY expensive and some other things like noise complaints, but one nice thing is the maintenance people are quick and friendly.

Building in a very good condition. Clean, many activities to residents. I like the games and possibility of winning prizes. Was a bit concerned about the fire trucks visiting the building quite often during first few weeks of being here. But comparing Wexler to another apartment buildings around or dorms, I am glad I am here and most likely will be renewing my lease next year.

I love the apartment so far. Furnished and walkable to campus. The community is friendly and open. I also love the layout of the 4 by 4. My room is very spacious with a bathroom connected.

Overall, I like the residents, staff, and apartment. Everything is always maintained, staff cleans frequently. The only thing I probably don’t like is the noise and location. Since it’s located in downtown /midtown area, the noise at night can be distracting especially if you’re trying to sleep.

I enjoy living here, I love the events offered, its a great way to meet new people! The facilities are also really nice, when there are problems, management is quick to assist, I had a problem with plumbing and the very next day someone came to fix it.

Living at Wexler has been a mixed experience for me. On the positive side, the location is unbeatable I can walk to Sac State in just a few minutes, and the amenities like the pool, gym, and study rooms are really nice to have. The apartments themselves feel modern and clean, and I’ve had great experience with maintenance team getting small issues fixed fairly quickly. Overall, Wexler is great if you want convenience and an active social environment, but not the best if you’re looking for something quiet and stress-free.

its been kind of quiet here for the most part. The staff here are really nice and the amenities are nice too. Move in day had its hiccups but the staff was patient with me.

The apartment is great! Very clean. Also the whole building including the pool and gym area is very nice and clean. Only issue I had was that my wardrobe door was broken when I arrived but maintenance fixed it fairly quickly.

This is my first year at Wexler and it has been such a nice place to live! The amenities and staff are great, and the rooms are the perfect size. The location is also perfect for walking to the CSUS campus. The area is a bit noisy but that's what comes with living in the city.

Overall the apartment was in good condition, there were some things that were not when moved in but maintenance was able to fix some of them. Living here has been good so far.
So far, moving in has been smooth nad have adjusted to the new apartment. Because I live in building 1 in the far back, facing the parking lot, I find it troubling having to walk all the way up to the front at times, since the back doors are always closed off. When bringing home groceries or a heavy load, it's tedious to have to walk all the way to the front, use the elevator, then walk all the way to the back of the building. I understand it's probably due to safety reasons and not having people barge in, but the gate that leads up to that door outside requires a code as well. That's my only concern; everything else has been fine.

Nice apartments and custodians keep it nice and clean. It gets really loud at night, especially on weekends. Theres not a lot of gym equipment but its kinda a given since the gym is small

The living space is very inviting and comfortable! They always have calendars posted every month for different activity nights and when they have any offerings which are super fun. There was a problem last year with a power outage and sometimes the wifi, but they make the fixes.

Move in and setup have been pretty straight forward. Staff have also been useful/helpful. The cleanliness of the unit upon moving in leaves a bit to be desired though.

It has been good, can't wait for all the events this month, such as the boba bar or the previous events when they partnered up with redbull, but parking has been horrible especially if you don't have a reserved parking spot. There should be at least 1 more floor for parking.
