As Wisconsin’s capital and second largest city, Madison is situated in the heart if America’s Dairyland. Aside from the city’s farming history, Madison is also known for its lakeside recreation and relaxation on Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, and Lake Waubesa. Interstates 90 and 94 make commuting as easy as possible in the area, even to major metropolises like Milwaukee, located roughly 80 miles east of town on Lake Michigan.
Home to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison draws in many residents for its college sports and top-notch educational opportunities. Between the Badgers basketball and hockey games at the Kohl Center to the Badgers football Games at Camp Randall Coliseum, there’s always a college game to cheer for. The university features all kinds of entertainment options, including the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum, a major natural attraction in the city.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Wexford Place
It's been over six months living in this apartments after selling our house, we did felt like our home. Maintenance is great (takes care of any problems immediately and the service is really good). Wexford Place Apartments are spacious and located in the west side of Madison near to hospitals, restaurants, and shopping malls. This apartment also features clubhouse to throw some parties, 24x7 gym for tenants, and swimming pool. Management is top class!
Before moving to Wexford we were looking for a safe, well maintained and reasonably priced place. If you are looking for the same thing, this is the place. I would recommend 100%. There’s a pool, gym and a shared room that you can book for a day for FREE. Everything is cleaned and well maintained at all times.
The units are nice, and spacious, prices are competitive. I think pound for pound it’s the nicest place to live in the city of Madison. Surrounded by good restaurants and beautiful shopping centers you’re not far from something to do, but is also a quiet, residential neighborhood. Home buyers program is useful.
Great apartments. So fast at replying to emails and very on top of it all around!
Quite Neighborhood, Friendly Management, Spacious Apts, Well Maintained and budget friendly with many amenities. Located right where you have all that you need (restaurants, groceries, Malls etc.) in just couple mile radious. Do check them first if you are looking for one.
We’ve lived here for 2 years and we have not had any reasons to complain. The staff and management respond promptly to our needs; the neighbors are friendly and the grounds are conducive for my little one to run around. Recommend Wexford 100%.
A really safe, well preserved, and clean place to live. Also, great management, who are responsive to your needs. The one item you would need to budget for is the yearly rent increase - occurs without fail.
My wife and I have lived here for over 5 years. TRMckenzie hasn't given us a reason to leave yet!. The management team is amazing and responds to all questions immediately. Maintenance shows up the day of or the next day and fixes the issue very quickly and with little to no disturbance to your day!
I’ve lived here since January and what can I say.... location, location! The amenities you get for the price are unmatched and management is prompt & friendly. All the things you want in a rental home
After a rough apartment search, I'm pleased to have picked Wexford place. Lisa the property manager is awesome. Super friendly, helpful, welcoming & an overall nice person. I'm very pleased with the apartment & community. The size & rent for my 1 bedroom is a good buy compared to others I've seen. Apartment was clean & well kept. The building as a whole is clean, safe & kept up as well. The clubhouse has a pool, community room, excerise room & tanning beds that are included in your rent. The neighborhood is very residential, so quiet & safe which was my biggest concern. The only downfall is how close we are to the beltline & the constant noise coming from it. But nothing I can do about that. Apartments go fast here & I can see why. Great staff, nice apartments & great neighborhood!!!
