Westwood Tower Apartments

This building is decaying. To the point where everything breaks, and they have no intention of fixing it. If a service is offered as an incentive to live here, it will eventually be closed down. A current list of issues as of this review: Shuttle service advertised to residents is closing down Gym is in disrepair and machines are broken Computer room is broken Pool (which is still being advertised as a feature) has been closed for over 2 years Dog park in the back is closed Heat constantly breaks in the dead of winter AC not on when 80+ degrees outside Dangerous side doors Take your life elsewhere as I can almost assure this place will be closed down and scraped within the next few years and you will be forced to move.

The leasing office needs to be more capable of functioning well. It is sad to report that they are incompetent. I attempted to apply for an apartment the day I toured with rental agent Visakha. When I reached out for assistance, a different agent, Ricardo, said what was available to me had been changed to affordable housing. I applied for a different unit. When I emailed for an update, they said they were changing their software and couldn't run my credit—I have an impeccable score. I waited several weeks for an update; Visakha exchanged several confusing emails. Somehow, I didn't get the apartment. I requested the $175 deposit back. They would not return the money due to a 72-hour non-return policy never explained to me. I can't imagine the horrors I would've experienced if they were competent in the leasing office and I had gotten the apartment.

Staff is terrific; very professional, friendly and helpful. Building is in good shape for being an older building.

Residents pay too much to swelter in the building. t has surpassed 80 degrees and management refuses to turn the air on.

Great apartments, great management and great location. You can't beat it in Bethesda. The first floor and lobby are immaculate and the front desk staff always efficient and friendly.

I've lived in this community for 14 years. It is a great area to reside in as there is a shopping center across the street as well as access to public transportation. The management team is oustanding and addresses issues promptly as well as provides letters of ongoing issues and updates around the community. I would highly recommend Westwood Towers to anyone.

I moved here almost 10 years ago and have not regretted it for a moment. The location, the management staff and the amenities make my life much simpler and more comfortable as I've aged. I appreciate the diversity of the community - young and old, multi-racial and ethnical - a village.

The place is well located and the building is cleaning which is very appreciable. The team is professional mostly.

I would recommend Westwood Tower Apartments because of the location, size of apartments & across the street from a shopping center. The management team is outstanding and issues are addressed promptly.

I have lived here for 13 years and I have not had any problems at all. Maintenance usually comes right away and always fixes the problem

Well organized- but not as advertised. Infrastructure is from 1960??

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had renting an apartment. The building is very run down and constantly has issues with flooding and terrible smells throughout the hallways. You will also have packages delivered to the building and the staff will not put a key in your mailbox or notify you at all. Also, if you have a car that you want to bring and park at the building, you are guaranteed to get dents and scratches from the many shopping carts that are left behind. Please stay away from this nightmare.

I like the apartment the space and convenient but the mice drive me crazy. I am giving up.

Westwood Towers is in an excellent location with many resources and it has really good rental rates conpared to other buildings. The service is great as well.

We lived at Westwood Tower Apartments for eight years previously and loved it! That's why we came back two and a half years ago. We love the serenity of the neighborhood, love the community as well as the convenience of the two shopping centers within close proximity. The courtesy bus to and from the Friendship Heights Metro is an added convenience which we were happy to see when we came back!
