Property Ratings at Westwood Properties
This is an old building WITHOUT A/C. During Summer Time, your home temperature can be as hot as 90 F. There is a heater in the room but no switch to turn it off. Once it lit on, it's on all the time.
Westwood Properties owns a variety of locations and I live on a 6th street location. Property management is friendly, helpful, and avavilable at reasonable times. The building at 55 S. 6th is quiet and the neighbors were all young, working professionals that mostly kept to themselves. Our apartment was remodeled and cleaned before we moved in and whenever we have any concerns, management is always willing to listen and fix any maintenance issues. Location is downtown San Jose which is a plus for amenities and resources in the area for food and entertainment, but things can get a little sketchy in the evenings. It's right by the college, so there is the occasional loud passerby, but being off of the main stretch, it often goes unnoticed. Overall, I have had an amazing experience with this location and property managment. Nothing to complain about from me!
About half a block from SJSU campus. This place is great for students, but there are also working professionals living here. Very nice compared to other apartments with only college students.
